The app was super easy to incorporate into our site and Stuart & Steve were amazing to work with when we requested customization. Really flexible and stuck with their initial quote even though it took them longer to code due to us switching over to a more complicated theme. Highly recommend!

This does exactly what it promises and was easy to configure and the team was there to help me with any hicups. Great app, even greater team.

Very impressed! Stuart responded promptly and customized the style of the app to match my theme (free of charge, as promised). The cross-sells look great. On the backend, it's very easy to use. The interface is intuitive, making it a breeze to set up new offers. I've used other cross-sell/upsell apps and this tops them easily. Only limitation is that the app won't work for cart upsells if your cart "pops up" or "slides", which mine does. But for product page cross-sells, I have no complaints.

Very good app, contacted their support and the cross sell feature was implemented as per our template within a couple of days. Site is now looking good and have already seen seo results showing the alternative products. Very pleased and the best thing it is affordable.

I would highly recommend this app. It really helps select the exact items that you want to show as related. Plus their customer service is second to none. They respond very quickly and work hard to put right any issues. I have only had a couple of minor issues but Stuart has got onto the problem immediately and after a few minutes everything is working as it should be. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Steve has been great to deal with and very quick to turn around the custom changes we requested for our sites - nothing is too much trouble for him to get the site looking just perfect! Cross sell provided a great way for us to try and ensure customers chose a mandatory license add-on to their hardware purchase, something we just couldn't have done without delving into the complexities of Shopify variants. Stuart is the man. Great app even better customer service. Thank you. EDIT: I just have to add to my HUGE endorsement for not just the app but for Stuart and team. First of all the app is beautiful and does an amazing job of getting your related items in front of the customer at exactly the right time to increase your units per transaction. Let's face it sometimes its not as easy as we would like for a customer to find the other items that would fit great with the item they are looking at or buying. This solves this issue in such an elegant and effective way. If this type of recommendation didn't work, Amazon wouldn't have 6,000 versions of it on their pages. But even more amazing than the app, is Stuart, the man behind the app. I had a few issues with getting things exactly as I wanted them to look and perform. I contacted support and within the hour, Stuart had everything exactly as I had envisioned, even though it went beyond simple little changes. This is even with my ADD asking for tweaks as they were working on it, it was done perfectly! All I can say is AMAZING!! Forget any other similar app, this is the only one you need!!!!!!!

Easy to use to an extent, a lot of work to begin with but I imagine topping up will be easier. Great app, looks fantastic on the website and the guys were very helpful in getting us the right look. Looking forward to seeing the results!

Great app!!!! Great service!!!!! Gives you the ability to select related items for each product in your inventory which is exactly what we needed. Communication with the developer was great when we needed a few changes made. The price is well worth it as well!! Do yourself a favor and get this app now!

When considering a cross sell / upsell app, you have to decide which is more valuable to you—automation or manual control. Nearly every recommendation app on Shopify takes an automated approach. This means you can install it and forget it, but you have to trust that the recommendations are going to be good ones. The automated apps (I’ve installed and tried nearly all of them) all claim to use BIG DATA, some sort of secret-sauce algorithm that magically determines what your customers will want to click on. And they make you pay for it: Expect to pay a minimum of $40/month for that magic formula. You know what? Big Data is overrated. We installed a bunch of apps in succession, only because most looked awful on our site and they kept giving the same lousy recommendations. We finally settled on a single app, just to see if it could learn our customer behavior. This app was by far the best of the automated apps that we installed. Nevertheless, in 6 months of reporting, we found that over 90% of clicks from recommendations were just products from the same collection. There’s no programming magic in that, no secret sauce, and no Big Data—our theme (Retina) already has this built in. There’s really no point in paying $50/month for that. So how do you get recommendations that are actually interesting and useful and generate additional sales? If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. And this means manually selecting your recommendations. Enter Cross Sell. It does not (yet) have an automated algorithm to guess the best possible recommendations, but for only $7/month, who cares? We don’t have 20,000 SKUs, and it’s easy enough to pick our 100 best sellers and add manual recommendations that we know will keep customers clicking and buying. Yes, some of those will be from the same collection, but many will not, and we know after 20 years in business which recommendations are best. For all the rest, Cross Sell lets you choose a default set of recommendations, and there’s also a separate Shopping Cart set of recommendations. Their shopping cart is about to get a lot smarter, too, pulling from the manual recommendations you’ve already assigned to the products in your cart. A few last points: • Automated / Big Data recommendations change as they gather more data. But in every single case that we observed (we monitored about 30 products closely), the changes were for the WORSE. Cross-Sell's manual approach prevents this. • Cross Sell's manual approach lets you choose your own marketing priorities: Do you simply want to highlight accessories that will increase total cart value? Or do you want to highlight new products? Perhaps you want to point customers to lesser-known products? Automated apps don't let you choose. • Cross Sell integrates seamlessly into your Shopify theme—at least for now, their support team will do this for you for free. You’d be surprised how few of the high-dollar recommendation / upsell apps actually play nice with your CSS. • Don’t underestimate the value of speedy load times. All the automated apps I tried (including the one I stuck with for many months) had SLOOOOW load times. With so many users on mobile, the slow-loading upsell apps were a real drag. Because Cross Sell uses a fixed set of recommendations, and doesn’t have to calculate new ones with each page load, it loads as fast as your original content. The support at Cross Sell is the best I've ever received for an app less than $10/month. Steve and Stuart are dedicated pros. Get this app.
