Fantastic app - I've been using it for a few months and it works great. Easy to use, the daily deals are a great idea. I've never had any trouble with it and when I needed help it came quickly.

This app saved me a ton of time. Very easy to use - pretty self explanatory but also has good tutorials and videos. I've only used the basic package so far but it looks like there is a whole lot to this app. Looking forward to trying some of Bold's other apps.

I love this app. Makes having sales so easy. Just a few things to do which only takes a couple of minutes and you're set. The app is definitely worth getting.

This app is really easy to use and a huge time saver! I love how the discounts are timed so I don't have to remember to change product prices after a sale is over.

CAVEAT EMPTOR, support for this app is mediocre, time consuming, and very frustrating, and I'm really just too busy for this crap. Their communication skills have thus far been very limited, and I don't know if the issue is: a. there is a communication disconnect and they don't understand what I am asking for (although I'm a pretty lucid and a direct communicator) b. they are dense c. they are lazy d. they really have no idea what it's like to run a small business Regardless, I'm regretting buying the app and I wish I'd gone with one of the other apps. Sale Icon and Countdown Timers are not part of the initial app, they have to be added afterward, which might be OK if you are a code-head, but if you're just a regular small business owner you'll have to pay them to install it for you. The price isn't horrible, I was ok with that, except they don't tell your any of this until you've already BOUGHT the app, and then the info is provided in an email. A link is provided in that email to a web page you won't be able to find it any other way, so DO NOT DELETE THAT EMAIL! On the web page it tells you to choose your Sale Icon & Countdown Timer choices, but it doesn't have a button or link illustrating your choices. There is a button at the bottom of the page that says "GET HELP" so I clicked it, thinking it would send me to a reference page, but it just billed me for the service. When the system asked me to Refuse/OK the charge I refused it (as I was nowhere ready to move ahead) and it still registered me for the service. I then emailed them, explaining that I was charged, was not ready to move forward, and was having a hard time finding my choices. They responded, offering to refund the charge and offer the services for free. Several more emails were exchanged, thanking them for the freebie, but I still needed the webpage that illustrates my choices. They kept sending me emails asking me to give them access to my shopify site, and I kept replying that I needed them to send me to the appropriate page with the options. They didn't get back to me over the weekend, despite the fact that I told them time was of the essence, and all I needed was for them to send me a link to the appropriate web page - not rocket science, and not a lot of work. Monday morning they replied with a small, difficult to read screenshot of a the appropriate web page, but no link or http address to the page it originated from. Seriously?! I finally excavated the email I referred to above (the one you should not, under any circumstances, misplace), found the link, and it appeared to be the page the screenshot was referring to. THANK GOD! I finally found the options I was looking for, and then found that they don't have any illustrations of what the different option will look like on your web page. Not super helpful if you don't want your online store to look like a MySpace page. Other Issues: 1. They don't have videos for all of their options. When you click the video button it says they are making one. 2. You can't find answers to all issues on the support page. For example, they don't have any support showing your options for Sale icons or Countdown Timers on the support page. ADDENDUM After I posted this review I received an email from one of the co-owners offering apologies and the following choice bits: "Everyone at the office read it and it's really made us all depressed." "...when I saw him (customer rep) read what you wrote that and called him dense his face just sunk, he feels really bad." "This review has really put everyone in the office into a depressed mood so I wanna do what I can here. It's the meanest review we've ever got, and right before Christmas... :-( " I'm not sure this company is run by adults, definitely not business people. All I want is software that works quickly and easily so I can get on with the work of my business.

Awesome app! Fairly easy to use. The setup may be a little difficult to a non-tech savvy person but the BOLD team helps you with it very quickly! Once it's been installed it's easy to configure and just saves SO MUCH time! Install it NOW!

Fantastic! Loving it so far. Really simple to use after a little getting used to and customer service is super helpful. And most imoportantly the customers are loving it!!!

I paid $99.99 for this service and the support is a joke. Doesn't work in all browsers either. Way overpriced and a big headache for me so far!!!!

Great app! Assists with all of the sales / promos you'd assume that Shopify already has the capability of doing, but doesn't! I'd say that this is a MUST. Plus, the support is really helpful! Definitely worth the 5 stars.

We were forced to leave MagentoGo by the end of the year, so we launched on Shopify on cyber Monday of all days! Shopify's limited discount abilities were an immediate problem; we needed a holiday sale. Product Discount came to the rescue. It was easy to set up, and I like that it added "Sale" banners to the things that we put on sale. It was easy to schedule and end time for the sale too. We added 10% discounts to selected products by creating a sale collection and without having to go into every product page to adjust prices, which saved a lot of tedious work. I especially like the one-time fee structure...no monthly payments.

This app is definitely a timesaver considering I used to manage sales on my website's survival kit products with various discount codes all the time. Now I just use the app to work it's magic and I have more time to dedicate towards other parts of the site. It was also really easy to get up and running and a snap to use, which always helps. :-)

I decide to watch the tutorial on the products discount app right before Black Friday. I decided to take a risk and threw out my current marketing plan for Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales and rely completely on the Bold Team to get me up and running (installing all required code, fixing minor bugs, answering my basic questions) with less than 24 hours to the start of our Black Friday Sale. Needless to say, my sales sky rocketed and it was a fairly smooth process. There is more I'm learning about these apps but the customer service has been very responsive in answering my questions. I installed it, got the discounts working on the Collection page very easily. Then had a problem finding where to put the line of code for the Products page. Eventually I worked it out, but an unwanted line of code appeared. I got in touch with BoldApps. James responded and asked for access. I granted it. He fixed it within minutes. Perfect. Bold Apps are the name to look for when it comes to quality apps that genuinely add value to your store. The Product Discount app is a fine example. It simplifies a potentially very labour intensive task down to just a few clicks. Also has great interaction with their other apps, creating something that is much greater then the sum of its parts.

We used Product Discount for our Black Friday through Cyber Monday sales and were very happy with it! It worked to adjust the prices for all the products we wanted on sale, both online and in our Shopify POS. The app automatically adjusted the prices at the time we specified so we didn't have to work on Thanksgiving night, and all products automatically went back to their original prices Monday night. I haven't had a chance to try he Daily Deals with the countdown timer option, but that is next on my list! I also really appreciated the one-time fee instead of having to pay monthly for this app.

I've now used this app for 3 of my Shopify stores: woodchuckusa.com, plugyourholes.com, and cheapassplugs.com. I couldn't be more satisfied with the performance and usability of not only Product Discount, but many other Bold apps. Product Discount came especially in handy when we decided to change up our Black Friday promotion 2 days before Black Friday! Needless to say, we got the app installed, promotion set up, and ready to go live in less than a day. Highly recommend. In eBay terms, I give Product Discount app an A+++++ -Ben

Really disappointed. The app has several limitations: 1) It is not possible to import or export products while the sales are on. In my case it means than I cannot sync my stock. 2) Yes, there is a sales clock wich indicates the expiration time. But you only can see it when you enter in the product detalis file. The effect of the flash sale disappears. 3) Is not possible to customizace the clock. If your clients are English spoken it doesn't matter. In my case, it is a disadvantage. You can customizace tle clock and other functions if you buy an expensive ticket, wich costs more than the application. The app is full of misfunctions. You cannot trust on it. After a month, I wont use it never more.

Very disappointed, I have had a deleted sale stuck on many products for nearly a week. Fast but ineffective customer service.

In a time crunch we purchased the Product Discount app for our cyber monday sale. The process was easy and the costumer service is amazing. Would defiantly recommend.

Super easy to use! I logged into a tutorial video that was about 45 mi long and exactly what I needed to get started! The tutorial was the Wed before Black Friday so it made my sale run very smoothly!!! Highly recommend!

This is the best app out there for managing sales, and the customer support cannot be beat. During the busiest retail season they added *extra* support, and when I had difficulty implementing a change in the code they solved the whole thing in record time, with only a single email exchange. Top notch product and service, all around.
