We needed a new marketing email service and SmartrMail is by far the best we have used. They respond within minutes if you email them with any questions regarding their app. I would highly recommend using SmartrMail!!!

I initially tried to use this app on a mobile device through shopify and it was a nightmare, difficult to navigate and understand what to do. After I switched to a desktop, I took about 15-20 minutes of playing around to figure it all out. Some stuff is really confusing, like bulk adding subscribers to new list. When creating newsletters to send out, some of the element do not show up in the template until you go to preview mode which is really frustrating and confusing because I added the same product 3 times by accident. Overall it's easier to use and understand than I expected. Features are limited and simple. Recommended but could use work.

Brilliant app, the most easiest i have used by far, set up an email within 10 minutes, simple and effective. I probably didn't get the best from the trial with it being January when things are tight, but will use further into the year.

The app is really awesome to use. The application is very User-friendly and the technical team is very helpful.

I have used several different email marketing programs and SmartrMail is very user friendly and has a lot of things set up for an easy start and you can customize later. I have only had this for about a week and looking forward to making a lot of money with this!

So easy to use compared to other email marketing apps! Also bringing information and photos from Shopify is automated. Makes things a lot easier :)

Hi Nicolas, I use this app for my newsletters. I this that the template for the newsletter is really good. The problem that I have is adding new clients to receive my newsletters. It's very monotonous. Also, one of my clients received the same newsletter four times. Thanks!

Great app, delivers exactly what it promises. Yasmine & Nicolas have been absolutely fantastic the best few days with all my questions and queries, big pat on the back to both of them. Top quality customer service, a lot of other apps on here could learn a lot from these guys.

Okay so far so good with SmartrMail. It was a lot easier to understand than MailChimp and it seems that more people have opened my newsletters than before. I am still working my way around it but so far, happy.

Holy moly this email marketing app does everything! Serious. It's nice to use, the emails look amazing, the support has been great. I can't remember having more helpful support from any app tbh - they (nick?) answered every question I had straight away. And showed me what else I could be setting up. I genuinely can't believe it's free. This is why I love Shopify, apps like this that literally do everything I need in email for Good Designs. Can't recommend Smartrmail highly enough!

They charge you, but you cant use until you ASK them to run a "security check" on your account, which takes a day, then after paying, your account still not functional - many messages I need to go to a paid plan WHEN I AM ALREADY ON A PAID PLAN!!!!!!!! Then they said it was fixed, email supposed to go out at 12, bug again on the mailing system, email went out at 4pm. I would recommend finding another email marketing app and not commiting the same mistake as me from choosing these guys. Ah and I am just leaving this review because they kept me asking on the chat to leave the review via automated messages.

I rate SmartrMail. PROS: - Friendly staff - Ability to conduct Video Appointments to help with set up and ongoing questions - Online Chat Service which is very responsive and you're received by staff that have an understanding of what is needed - Easy to use and send personalised email to my customers - Capability to track success rates from emails - Stays up to date with software updates, and various logistical and legal requirements. CONS: - Cost (no matter how high or low the cost is, it is always a con) - Features depend on plan selected - Charges is USD, which means currency conversion costs are the problem of the user Although I have put some cons, these are generic cons to all other apps on Shopify so I have not let it affect the star rating given.

Their customer service is probably the best I have ever received. I would highly recommend this app. Its working perfectly for us and we are already seeing a return based off our 1st newsletter.

I used this app to start my email marketing. This has been something that I have neglected because it seemed to complicated. This app made it easy to set up my monthly newsletter and email campaigns. The complimentary video chat with Josh was great and helped me learn the system and get up and running quickly.

I have only had the app for a day or so but I am impressed so far. It has worked great and I've been able to send my first email that actually have photos and working buttons.

Love this Mailchimp alternative, I didn't think I would be able to find a provider that did what I was looking for... SmartrMail has done wonders and I just started as a "test"! A wonderful alternative to MailChimp, many great features, smart automation, and amazing customer support.

After moving from Mail Chimp to SmartrMail I've been really happy with the product. Easy to use, effective and the support service is quick. Definitely recommend as a good alternative to Mail Chimp!
