Reviews for Printful: Print on Demand

we've been using The Printful for 5 months and are not happy with the service or product quality. We've experienced poor print quality including peeling graphics, crooked lettering an an overall "faded" look. Be aware that they also charge you a "handling fee" even though, it is no where in writing. We have called and emailed them about this many times, they insist it is a "shipping fee". Their website lists US shipping at $5 so the extra fees are "handling". We are looking into other alternatives as this can only cause problems with our customers.

Great variety of product options, and an easy to use service, but products are priced way too high.

The app is very easy to use. Makes mocking and adding pictures to your store so easy.

This company is truly awesome. Great customer support, fast production and shipping, great products with a lot of variety, and reasonable pricing. It's a no brainer for someone like me who doesn't want to have to deal the production and packaging aspects. Thank you for doing what you guys do!

Good quality shirts. Wish the leggings were a little cheaper so I could compete with the online legging market. But overall it's good to not have to deal with inventory.

Really needs to work with shopify to make adding design variants easier. If I wasnt so bored and frustrated with that one aspect I would proabably give these guys 5/5. Great quality shirts.

Great app. Couldn't run my store without it!

The designers are great! The printing so far has been awesome. Sometimes on a busy weekend it takes them a full 3 days to fulfill the order, but I am pleased with them. They are constantly updating and staying ahead of trends when it comes to offering new products and ways to market your business. Keep up the good work Printiful and work on shortening your fulfillment times to even shorter times!

Printful is a spectacular company. The support is awesome, the shirts and printing are wonderful quality. The system is the easiest to use (that I've tried so far). I keep going back to them after trying out different print-on-demand places. I love the customizable features they have and I love how they are continually adding new features and progressing their brand/products/offerings. Highly recommended.

Love the app, easy to use, love that you can use AI files with it. Only drawback for me is the high cost of shipping. A baby onesie shipping for $5 is a little much. I get better rates with other vendors but they don't offer as many choices as Printful. So I have to eat the shipping charges a little bit but that is my only complaint.

This app is amazing! The customer service is excellent and the end product is of high quality! I'm using the app for my store MinteeFashion.com - The user interface is very straight forward and the company actually wants you to succeed. I would recommend it to anyone! :)

Ease of use is crazy good, shipping times leave a bit to be desired but I can live with that

the order and fulfillment process are seamless, and the quality is excellent. Most importantly to me is that the colors (on American Apparel tees) are true to my designs. One complaint: automatic shipping calculations are only for the $299 tier of shopify customers (highest plan), so I had to manually set up with different weight classes using http://blog.theprintful.com/how-to-override-shopifys-shipping-rates-and-use-printfuls/

I use it for my whole collection and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

All I can say is WOW. The Printful team delivers every time, and the support I get from everyone is just incredible.

UPDATE 2: Still have my gripe below but quality has been good every time and turn-around is quick. Quality and turn-around time have been better than their competitors and their app is by far the most well designed. UPDATE: I've received several samples from Printful. Quality has been great and the fulfillment process is seamless. But here is my gripe and the thing that gives me pause on moving forward with the Printful app. They've just done a product revision and the way they've handled it shows a lack of concern for the time and money invested by their users. In this revision, they majorly changed the sizing and fit of one of their products invalidating all files that were made according to the guidelines they set previously. Apparently the old Printful templates that I used to design my products will no longer be acceptable for their print, cut, sew process. It would take at least a weeks worth of work to revise all of my designs to fit the new templates. This unfortunately is not an option for me so I will not be able to continue to offer these products that I've invested several months in designing and promoting. While I do appreciate Printful's attempt to improve their product this latest update doesn't seem to take into consideration the time invested by their users. Printful could have built upon the old template to incorporate the new sizes. Instead they scrapped the old template, making it along with all the work that went into following it's guidelines totally obsolete. Needless to say, Printful's latest update doesn't do a lot for my confidence in moving forward with them. It seems to show their lack of concern for the time invested by their users. It also shows their lack of concern for the money invested by their users. The samples I've purchased from Printful (before they announced they were totally revising the product) are now useless. I bought these samples so that I could best advise my customers on the shape, fit and sizing of Printful's product. Now that Printful has changed all of these aspects plus invalidated my design file, what's the point in having these samples? Will Printful reimburse me for these since they are no longer samples from which I can advise my customers? ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the app interface a lot. Hope it will keep improving with more mock-up generators etc. But it's a wonderful option for print on demand. Have not received any sample product yet but I assume it's of the same quality as Society6.
