This was my first App purchase on shopify and I did a lot of research to ensure I was going to get what I needed. I will admit the review where very good and the few that were not were generally from people that want a cookie cutter program performing the way they want it too right away. For them... NEWS FLASH... this is programming and nothing is 100% compatible with everything. However, with a good team backing up their product you can reach that goal with good communication. Shout out to all the team members that assisted me in getting the App to perform everything that I needed it too. I highly recommend this App and suggest to anyone that are still hesitating to take the leap and use the free trial periode to work out the bugs for your store. That is what I did and could not be happier with the result. Finally, depending in what timezone you are be patient for the replies as most of mine took an average of 12 to 18 hr. I would give this app more than 5* if I could but I cant. The app is great & the staff over on the online chat no what they are doing. I really didnt no what i was doing and i was ready to chuck the towel in but a lovely guy called sanjay has helped me through setting up the app even when its been something very silly. If it wasnt for him i dont think id be using the app. Anything i have asked him to help with he has done it. Thanks so much. the guy needs a raise :-) The app really does what its intended for. I went straight in with the paid version and I ant not lie it is the best around.

I was so confused with this app. I wrote in and spoke with Arthur who spent over 4 hours helping me. He is excellent. I wish it wasn't so hard to get in contact with them, but when you do it's worth it.

This app is exactly what I needed in order to provide extra custom options for my products. Had a little issue with knowing how to work the app reached out the chat customer service and got step by step help on how to navigate and do exactly what I was wanting. They was patient and answered all my questions to the T

Fairly easy to setup and the app says it will do everything I needed, however it never worked! Despite having professional installation by a HulkApps developer, the custom options selected by my customers were never displayed on my orders. This meant reaching out to customers after they placed their orders to get the details - defeating the entire purpose of the app. I reached out for support and was told there was a coding issue and that another ticket had been opened on their backend. My ticket was then closed without any resolution. I reached out again to have my issue addressed and received a response that a new theme had been setup to fix the problem. This completely removed all the options from my page and made the app unusable on my website. I'm canceling my monthly subscription to this app since it has never worked and will be using a competitor's app.

So far this app has everything I need. I've looked at a ton of apps in the Shopify store. It's really frustrating that Shopify has a variant/option limit but Hulk Product Options is doing the job. I definitely give them 5 stars because of their customer service. They offer 'Expert Installation' and then they have a live chat and will answer any and all questions. When there is a setting I'm looking for and the settings don't have it, they will code it for you and provide the code. An example would be the hover color and spacing between options. Overall very happy. Thanks!

We use this app for many of our sites and they have always been quick to respond and assist us. Their prompt response in resolving any issues we come across in a period spanning several years with consistent support is why we have used their apps and would highly recommend them to others.

advertised as having a free option, the free option is now $8.90/mo after 14 day trial. Still worth it - but kinda sucks to have the basic plan taken away and still advertised as available for free.

I had to update this review as our experience with this company in the last few days has been terrible. The app had been giving us tons of issues in the previous few days, and every time I reached out for support, they would always tell us that it was fine on their end and that they couldn't find any issues. Even though I had customers telling me about all the bugs with the options, literally as I was talking to the HulkApps customer service. After several days of the same back and forth with their condescending representative, I had to record a screen capture of me using the website for them to finally acknowledge the issue. That was early Friday afternoon. When we came back to the office on Monday, we found several email messages in our inbox. Again with the same condescending tone, demanding us to uninstall about three or four other apps for theirs to work. We knew we didn't want to keep using their services anymore when we read that. We decided to uninstall the app and find another one. Immediately we received an email from HulkApps. It said that "Due to a limitation of Shopify's platform, we are not able to make changes to the theme code after an app is deleted." Well, it's been two days ever since, and we still haven't been able to install the new app because of their code still being there. The developers of the new app we want to install told us that they can't remove the code because they're not familiar with it. They also mentioned that HulkApps should have done it themselves per Shopify's guidelines. We reached out to Shopify, and their representative said this "That's a bit odd - normally we request the third-party apps to remove their own coding." So, here we are, stuck with no options app, and now we need to find a Shopify expert that can fix this mess for us. Stay away from this company. You'll regret using their apps in the long term.

I initially left a really good review for this product after I had an issue and it was rectified very quickly, however it actually hasnt been rectified. Every 2 days the code somehow just disappears from my store and the options are no longer available for customers to select. I have contacted dev multiple times, however I think they have given up as this keeps happening and now I get no response. Its very odd as it worked perfectly for what I need for 12 months and randomly stopped working. Pretty annoying as now I am hunting for another app.

We use for our custom hair replacement service and I like how it allow us to add the custom options we offer to help meet our customers personal individual needs. I am not being paid in fact I love the app so much I asked do they offer any referral and they do not.
