Good service but have experienced page building problems in the trial period. Issues have now been sorted thanks to support team.

This is the little app that could! - GemPages is by far the best drag and drop editor I've worked with. I've built out several sites for clients and have used other page creation apps in the past before this one was released but I'm glad this app came out! Its still very new and I've been providing feedback to their development team but thanks to their customer support and dev team, they have been able to help me overcome any obstacle I've faced so far. I can't wait for them to rollout updates and new features because they've already hit the ground running with what they've released and its only going to get better and provide more robust page designing to shopify users.

Updated Review... I left this 1-star review because they left the app on my store and caused major problems for me, I then got hassled for about 4 hours this evening through messenger and phone calls... This included the owners of Gempages slagging off other apps and saying how superior theirs was and everyone else was garbage... Then they started to insult me personally... calling me an idiot and not a businessman because I refused to play their game... So this leads me to think how many other 1 star reviews did this shower get before they pressured and harassed reviewers to change their reviews... They are not nice people... Especially Chris Koh Very Rude Guy... So to make this perfectly Clear... One Star Review for Your Lousy Customer Service and your Ineptitude in doing what you are contracted to do. 2 days ago I contacted Shopify to remove this garbage and it's still there causing problems, every time I build a page out, the product gets hijacked by Gem, I rectify it, then publish, think everything is ok =, check my site and half my pages are missing. Gem has Hijacked them again... God, I wish I could give ZERO stars...

I really love the idea and platform, however, tech support never responded to my issues. I downloaded this app because of the positive reviews regarding awesome tech support, but I got zero response. It's a real bummer because I found the app useful for what I need, but if I am going to pay $20/month, I want to know my issues will taken care in a timely manner so my store doesn't lose sales. I lost some money for sure.

I'm a web designer by trade, and beginning to use this app seemed intuitive, easy, and fast. I loved it in the beginning. Shortly after, I had started gathering issues (integrating into Shopify Homepage, Product Element blocks not showing properly, widgets not completely loading in the gem builder, inconsistent viewing, and continuous bug after bug). This is where it stopped being intuitive and straight annoying. A web designers apps and tools are everything to them. It's how I do my job. I found I couldn't depend on GemPages to properly execute my designs or support me with my problems when I needed them to, and for this, that is their BIGGEST flaw. That's why they have a two star rating. The interface is beautiful and the customization is endless. However, if you have deadlines and wish for support to fix your problems FIRST TIME AROUND, this app will do nothing but disappoint you.

I am updating my review as of today because I am so disappointed in the customer service at GemPages. When I in my trail GemPages were communicating with me every day but now I cannot get an answer. It has to be the worst customer service I have received here on the Shopify App Store and it doesn't feel good knowing that the owner only wants to communicate with you to get you onboard and when you are onboard he just ignores you! The page builder is good but the customer service sucks - BIGTIME!!

I have had some problems with the editor of Gempages that did not work very well on my Lenovo computer. However I did experience great customer service that wanted to help me out with my problems, so that is definitely a plus.

Very intuitive app, which we use to create nice looking pages in short time. The service is also very responsive and friendly. I would recommend!

This was a horrible experience, but after realizing most of the horror was my lack of knowledge on blogging. I should have backed up my content and I did not. I also didn't prepare for there to be an issue where i needed to and you always expect your site code to have a way to find lost files. This weird instance, was THANKFULLY resolved. I glanced at my blog section, and wow, it was all returned to me, Thank you for helping me and retreiving one of my first blog posts ever and almost a baby to me. The other customer support members were very kind and figured out the issue without delay; I truly don't know what happened initially. I will leave my old review up as it an help others see that even when very rare things happen, Gem pages found a way, and that is all that really matters! BTW: My other pages are beautiful and from my last review, still functioning just fine. They lost content from my pages. Didn't bother to help me understand what happened; they didn't even know what happened in their own system. Customer service will leave you on "seen" and not bother to reply or care. I spent SOLID HOURS to write each blog and need them for my business, Not only did it completely wipe out my blog; but they don't have the slightest clue why. I even checked previous themes and tried to recover it from code. Without even pressing the save button, it is wiped out of my entire history? This is not even slightly ok. Be very very careful when utilizing this app and backup everything you do even a font change! Before this, I couldn't even work on anything but new pages because it said my page was locked from an app. It 'unlocks' and the first attempt at editing an existing page causes this. The responses from customer service WHILE it says they are active AND have 'seen' your messages is STILL HOURS!!!

Best page builder app for shopify! I tried every page building app & this one is the easiest and also the fastest. Also great support !! :)

I am building a large (60K) product store and have searched for page builders to help me do this. Unfortunately, I've had bad luck with this. Then I found GemPages and have had wonderful success. The app may seem a bit daunting at first, but don't let that stop you. With a tiny bit of patience you will master this app and it will perform really well for you. I have also reached out to the support team and Chris himself has helped me, including making me a how to video on my specific request I had for some customization. I highly encourage you to try this app... Its the best I've used so far and Im very happy to have found it and to have met Chris online through the support.

GemPages is incredible and is an absolute AMAZING. Also, has great customer service. There drag and drop features make it easy to create a page.

Gempages is very good to customize page on all device. The quality of the support team is excellent.

This app will take your website to another level. Its so powerful and theres so many options to use that let you build your site. Also they have great templates. Its very user friendly and customer service is great. Janie is a great help.

Gem page is the best of the best, when you master its use, no longer need a paid theme and their customer service is very competent 50 STARS

I was having some problems with publishing my very first page. Thankfully this app has a real - time customer support messaging system in place. The support team helped me a lot. Even on a Sunday! Now everything’s working! I can’t wait to make our new landing page. Clean and easy to use interface!! Hats off to Cris the app developer ❤️

I really appreciate this app. I was having some trouble understanding how to create a new homepage, and sent in a request for assistance. I got a response within an hour and she was able to guide me through the entire process. Much deserved 5 stars! Thank you!!

Hello, it's good app, I have been trying other page builders but this one seems good. Much better than buy the themes.

I used this app to create some product pages because our default pages were looking bland. This app worked great and the customer service was very good. Customer Support was very helpful and enjoyable to talk to as well.

I have been struggling to find a good app so I could create customized pages for my own needs without going to a developer. This is by far the best app I have ever used with great customer service.

GemPages is incredible and is an absolute MUST. I wouldn't do Shopify any other way. It really helps you optimize/design pages depending on each of the 4 view modes (desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile). And not only that, customer support was fantastic and so helpful with answering all of my questions.
