Very intuitive app/builder for customising and creating new shopify page layouts. Nick and the team are very responsive and help with any queries. Would definitely recommend purchasing if you require customising layouts on your shopify theme. The UI is very well designed and easy to use, and the ideal builder for shopify compared to other rivals.

Ok. To start boldly: This is one of greatest apps I've installed. Ever. I am an experienced Wordpress user, but Shopify was all new to me so I was a bit lost to begin with. I felt that Shopify was missing something very important - a proper way to build pages for those who are not educated in this field. Wordpress has it (Visual Composer) and that works great, but what about Shopify? I finally stumbled across GemPage and was actually excited by how easy it was to do pretty much everything. In all honesty, it beats Visual Composer because you can do pretty much anything and you don't need any previous experience. The support from these guys - Chris, is the one I've been in touch with - is the best I've ever received. Whenever I had a question or needed any help, they replied me within minutes on their integrated live-chat, in the control panel. GemPage comes packed with a lot of cool features and templates. Another cool thing is that they keep on updating and adding new features all the time. They actually listens to their users. This review got lengthy and I could write more but I think I'll end it by saying this: The tiny sum I paid for GemPage was by far the best investment I could make when opening up my new store. To ensure it became the best it could be. Thank you so much, Chris & the whole GemPage crew! Truly amazing work!.

Have contacted support 3 times over the last 3 weeks with no response :( Lots of glitches! Could be a great app down the road but really disappointed with the app currently and most definitely the service! Do not recommend

Is this app developer even active, I tried the email and it bounced back. If so, can you guys please respond and let us merchants know this product is active and being supported. I'm looking to buy an additional builder for a client shop, but not interested if responses are not answered. I like the app, so I'm giving 4 stars to be fair, however I'm on trial so I'll wait for a response before purchasing.

Here are the pros: $100 per year vs $50 per month($600 per year) - on Wordpress I paid $40 once for a builder that was just as good as the others, so $50 a month to me is insanity. If you've used a builder before, it's pretty easy to get the hang of. I was able to duplicate my old site pretty quickly. It's still in Beta, so it's going to get better if you support the app. Cons: There were a few things I had issues figuring out - just know that Right Clicking a section allows you to edit CSS and styles for it. Knowing that would have saved a lot of my time. Support is good, but not great, but with the support I've been giving my own customers while focusing on building out the new site, I can see why he'd have less time to focus on fixing little issues one by one vs just working to fix the entire issue for everyone at once as quickly as possible. Currently, it doesn't allow you to customize product pages but the feature is coming soon. Overall, I'm super happy with the builder. You are trading off some features for the lower price, but for myself, I was able to do just about everything I wanted with no help from the developer I pay hourly to assist me with things and I have a fairly complex site. The only thing I'm using my dev for is to custom code a section from my theme into the builder so the styling is the same. If you're coming from Wordpress and you're blown away by the price of other builders, I can say from my own personal experience that this builder is good enough to justify you not spending an extra $500 elsewhere if you're going to be customizing a lot of different pages.

I only give my feedback as a third-party.* Initially, I needed a page building app that allowed for certain customizations and capabilities that enabled my client and I to test design solutions for product pages and content pages. I found GemPages and thought to give it a try as I've had experience working with in-app page builders for other platforms and I liked the offering. Ive worked with GemPages for a few months from the initial kickoff to final launch (Roughly February - May). Full transparency, at first the system had some bugs that would show some inconsistencies and errors but after speaking with Chris and reporting the issues, he made sure to verify the issues and correct them as they were reported. He's been very friendly through the entire process and open to suggestions and feedback. From a design perspective, I took some customization liberties for our page design that allowed for a modern but light design execution and the inapp widgets allowed me to build the design how we imagined. All in all, after working through the initial learning curve of a new visual builder and making sure any potential bugs on my page are resolved prior to launch (things are good now), GemPages has become an app I trust for future page implementations. I look forward to seeing the next phase of GemPages and what Chris' team has to offer - this is definitely an app worth giving a try to build and test.

We have found this app to be very useful for our website needs. Chris is very responsive and though the app has some bugs, he always is quick to try and fix the problem and is willing to work with you. The app is also truly responsive to mobile devices which is a plus. The drag and drop features are easy to use and he is always adding more features. Overall very happy with this app.

I love this app! It is very easy to use and so intuitive. There is a few small issues but Chris has been amazing.

Really simple tool to use and loved it. However there seems to be numerous bugs associated with it. After installation I found out that IE would not display the images on pages created with the tool. Contact Chris and he responded right away to fix the problem. Then a week later the homepage would not save and it started disabling the main menu. Contacted Chris and did not get a response for 3 days, still have not heard anything from his team or him. Maybe he will get in contact with me later since he likley has a life of his own that he needs to live. However, for a business owner, to have two bug issues within two weeks of installation and to not have a response back within 3 days of inquiry is highly risky. Thank god the store is not live yet to affect the actual business. Will be uninstalling and moving on to another tool.

All software has issues, and this software is no different. However it IS very easy to use and intuitive for non-developers. But as other reviewers have mentioned, the real reason people like this software is because of the awesome support. Chris is VERY responsive, extremely helpful and pleasant and because of this, any issues that crop up are fixed and resolved very quickly. Most Shopify website owners are busy running their businesses and their lives, so ease-of-use and customer support is everything, and Chris is fantastic at that.

Amazing application – kind of. The freedom this application gives you in leaps and bounds ahead of Shopify's own page editor especially when you compound it with the features of your already existing theme. HOWEVER, I was never able to reedit any of my custom pages after creating and editing them the first time. They would never load and both Safari and Chrome would practically crash when the application would try to open a page that I had previously edited with GemPage. AKA, unless you plan to make a page and never update it, be prepared to completely trash your page and remake it with any updates.

These guys are just genius.I was struggling to build one page but this app just made hard thing so easy for me.just with few clicks i was able to make the page which i could not even imaging.Also chris was really supportive throughout that time.whenever i was stuuck somewhere he was there to help within few seconds.Thanks so much mate.Kudos to the app.Recommended for everyone.

Let's admit it : Shopify really should have an intuitive page editor to customize page layouts. Since it doesn't, we can count ourselves lucky that apps like GemPage exist. GemPage is one of the most intuitive page editors available for Shopify. Just drag and drop an image, text or product icon onto the page, and customize the presentation of each element as you see fit. One particularly useful feature is the mobile, tablet and desktop preview modes. Preview mode allows you see how your page will look on each type of device. Chris is constantly adding improvements in response to customer feedback and has been very helpful with all of the questions I had. I've tried a number of other page layout apps for Shopify and most of them seemed to be too simplistic or too complicated for my needs. GemPage strikes the right balance between functionality, flexibility and ease of use. If you're still reading this, do yourself a favour and give the trial version a shot. There are plans available to suit all budgets, and after using it for a few days you'll be reluctant to go back to Shopify's in-built page editor. Damian, Web Developer. A few weeks ago, the company I'm working in, changed their shopsystem to Shopify. We're selling most of our products (nutrition supplements) over a lot of backend funnels. Therefore we need conversion optimized sales & landingpages. Gempage was the only plugin we found for Shopify, which has excactly the features like we had in our selling process before. Once we needed a special feature, which was not available in Gempage. So, I asked the support, if they can programm it for us. Two days later, our requested feature was included into Gempage. Thank's Gempage-Team for your amazing support!!

So far it's the best shopify app by far. Shopify is good for business like mine but you can not create or modify landing pages and more is not good. Makes the job very hard Your app makes this simpler and you can take the time to get a design adapted to your product. This is great. I'm leaving a 1-star review because I don't appreciate having an app suggested to me when I ask for help and it doesn't do what I asked. ***** Update Chris apologised and offered to take care of the task that I was after via Shopify Experts, and he tried, but I don't believe he had a high enough level of skill to do it. Because he tried to make up for his mistake, I have changed my review from a 1-star to a 3-star review.

GemPage is the best drag & drop page builder for Shopify so far. Easy to setup and customize. There is still some friction, and some features should be tuned, but the customer support is helpful. Just ask them to help, and on the next day, your problem is solved. Such support is truly valuable.

I was with the app when it was in beta and it has really grown. Chris is amazing and the support is incredible. It's the most robust drag and drop tool and provides literally every feature. It also makes up for the ridiculously complex system that Shopify has invested in (haven't invested enough obviously) because gempage is perfect. Really excited to see this app grow and can't wait to see how it progresses!
