I have had shops before connected to meta , but had problems. This time around it is going much more smoothly. Not sure if meta made changes or if I just am a little more tech savvy but it is so easy this time.

Hello, it seems to me a good option in terms of being able to expand our store through Facebook and Instagram, but it seems to me that they put up a lot of obstacles and the process is delayed for them to verify the account.

This app just doesn't work and customer service isn't really available. Everything looks great in the store builder, and then nothing comes up on the sites. I'm through.

if you haven't done this before, i think reading the documentation PRIOR is a big big help. It's good information for someone that doesn't do this all day long. After I read everything I could, I was able to complete the setup without any issues :) Thank you

It works well in bring visitors to my Facebook store. Make sure you add pictures to all your shopify store products and variations to make sure you dont have a failed sync.

i have tried this 2 different times in total since i started my business ans this by far is so unnecessary steps, I followed every step just to connect facebook so all my platforms are sync but forget this facebbok connection it is one huge headache

Everything was good until now. But now it happens from time to time that the data is not transferred correctly. Multiple shops are now drastically overreporting conversions. This has to have something to do with how the pixel is installed via this app. Probably counting the refresh of the order confirmation as a sale. I am not talking about one or two conversions more, it's a 10-20x! I had 10 sales but over 100 were reported to the admanager. This seriously messes with ad delivery and interpreting data. I'll update this review to five stars if someone fixes this problem.

This app is so bad, I don't understand how this can be the official app, it keeps crashing and all the error messages are super generic, you're left with no clue of what happened. Since I can't send my support message through the app because it keeps saying "Something went wrong". I'm gonna try here: I have created a new facebook account specifically for my business, using the business email. I set everything up using this new account, sent all documents proving my identity and company ownership but for some reason after a few days, my account got suspended and subsequently deactivated. I am now trying to set everything up again, using my personal Facebook account which I have owned for many years, but unfortunately again, I can't go past the setup step, since the Shopify app still seems to be connected to the deactivated account somehow. The *only* thing I wanted is to be able to run ads using the Facebook Pixel, but it seems to be impossible. How can I proceed from here?

This app is very bad and a time suck. Once you get going, it is like you can't stop and the problems and connection/verification issues literally get worse the more you try to fix. I have been trying to get FB and IG shopping hooked up for over a year. Last week, I disconnected from shopify to start over. Now my catalog is completely disconnected and it wont allow me to reconnect. It is stating the asset is already connected and to go to my commerce manager. Commerce manager in one place is stating it is connected and in another that I have been rejected for the (who knows how many) times. I spend hours every week on this trying different things to connect and there is no one to contact and they do not message you back. It is frustrating, because I would really like to spend time elsewhere. I have an LLC and have been selling online for over 18 months with my website. I am still not authorized or verified on FB or IG. Do not waste your time on this and stick to your website and email list as much as you can

I live and operate my store from Nigeria. I don't know why up till now in 2023, I still cannot operate this sales channel just because of my country of residence. This has extremely limited my Shopify experience since I cannot connect Facebook or Instagram as a sales channel. Hopefully someday you get to trust and list my country so I can utilize this app.

This application has not been a positive experience and has consumed a considerable amount of time. Despite attempting to resolve issues related to connectivity and verification for over 10 days for now, the problems have only worsened with time. Recently, there was an attempt to start over by disconnecting from Shopify, but this resulted in a complete disconnection of the catalog, making it impossible to reconnect. The app claims that the asset is already connected and directs the user to the commerce manager, which provides conflicting information about the connection and rejections. Numerous attempts have been made to connect, but there is no one to contact for assistance and no response to messages. This is frustrating as I still not authorized or verified on Facebook or Instagram. It is recommended that others avoid this app and focus on their website and email list instead.

Monumentally poor support. Installed our Pixel the way they wanted us to over two months ago. Issues from day one with data not firing properly. I've been passed from pillar to post through their "support" teams and yet nothing is getting fixed. We're going to have to look for an alternative method of connecting our Meta Pixel to our store.
