Does exactly what it needs to do, very good.

Not a bad app, delivers digital files instantly - which is great. What is bad - email notifications. Customers already receive one email before the "Digital download is ready" email with a download link. Seems really redundant and our customers are irked by it. Major opportunity to implement a feature to turn off follow up emails.

Easy to use and a good free app to get started with. Does have some limitations as you can't bulk upload files etc but does what it says.

Great App that has made feeling digital goods very easy to my shop. I wish there was a way to sell items that are unique behind one product instead of duplicating many of the products so that they get individualized download links using this app. Who know maybe in the future it can be added. Thanks for the app!

It's great to have a free digital download app in shopify. It's easy to use and the fact that you can add different downloads to product variables is great. But the app can be developed, especially the option that customers can download their digital goodies from their account in the store would be very handy. Let's admit no one stores e-mail download links and when the customer lost their download keys the shop owner has to create manual download links. And more importantly in such cases you cannot send an automated new download email to the customer within the app settings>orders page. It sends the old download key which may have ran out of the download limit.

A nice start, but one star from me until you can attach multiple files to the same product variant. Shopify's suggestion of attaching a .zip file is useless: many people don't know how to use them, and we lose the vast number of customers who are purchasing on mobile devices that can't handle .zip files.

Works pretty well, but lacks a few features that would make it more convenient to use. For example, there is no way to make bulk edits to the settings for all items - we wanted to change the download limit for our products, but there is no way to set them all at once, so we have to change each of the 1,700 individually.

Works great and easy to use. Don't even have to think about it once it's set up. I have this set up on a shop that fulfills physical items, but use this feature to make free PDF downloads available while still gathering emails. Since I use it to provide free downloads to my customers, my only wish is that for free orders all they would have to provide is name and email address - rather than still going through checkout like regular orders. I think that turns some people off from completing the process.

I agree with the last two reviews. This app was PERFECT when it allowed for manual fulfillment at a later date, but sent the download immediately upon checkout completion. Now, that functionality has been changed / disabled and support has given me a similar response, stating that functionality was incorrect (although, sounds like at least a few of us didn't think so). Maybe let the app do what customers want, even if it wasn't the original intent?

As per the previous review, I was using this app for the last 6 months and it was working fine, however it's stopped working now and I'm not sure why. I have tried contacting the developer but no answer yet. I have also tried re-uploading the digital files but that didn't help either.

I was using this app to deliver mix goods (a physical & digital product). At first, it worked perfectly. Customers could download digital good immediately after a successful checkout while they were waiting fulfillment of their physical item as described in the app's documentation. From App's Documentation Reminder "Customers will still be able to immediately download the digital content even if fulfillment is set to manual. They are presented a link following a successful checkout." All of a sudden it stop delivering a download URL following successful checkout. I contacted Shopify Support and I was told that the above Reminder was an inconsistency and that the app is not supposed to function that way at all. Which I still can't understand because it functioned in the way described in the App's Documentation for months. Shopify Support and the App's Developer confirmed that the Documentation that describes this functionality is an "unknown error". I guess they're happy that I reported it.

Outstanding app! I was worried about the import function and how well it would work, considering I had close to 800 products. Just had to do a few tweaks to my csv file, and I was ready to go. Thanks again!

Exactly what we've wanted. The app offers and extend functionality and if well integrated with the whole system. Just what you'd expect from Shopify's official apps.
