I use this app to export reports that Shopify does not provide in their analytics section. The best thing about the app is I can custom generate reports. I mean isn't that the solution to all your data export problems. Love this app.

I needed a report from shopify that was easy to read and functional. It also needed some customization that I couldn't perform. I tried the chat and low and behold, someone was actually manning it and helped me make the perfect report overnight. He even uploaded it into the app for me. Seamless. We're new to SHOPIFY but have a long history in mail order using other programs. Data Export is helping us generate reports we need for things like ordering inventory. We have several hundred vendors, and about 3000 sku's, and sales history is important to us. David and crew have helped us with questions about pulling several "Product Types" into a single report. That was a bit trickier for us than just pulling by a SKU, or a single product type. But it will make our reports far more useful.

Data Export is a great addition to your App library for your Shopify store. It's full-featured and has the ability to create a variety of reports customized for your specific needs. But what makes Data Export stand head and shoulders above other apps is the customer service. First, they are AVAILABLE -- the chat support is great and the response of the customer support team is PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGABLE. They are always willing to provide the answer, walk you through the solution and have even just implemented the solution for me when the solution is beyond my skillset. One of the best things I've also discovered is the library of very helpful tutorial videos that they have created to help their customers learn how to better use Data Export, too. I can highly recommend this app and the support team.

Great app! no matter which file is to be exported, data export gets this out! if you do not know, the support writes you back immediately and creates your export list! insane support!

This is a wonderful APP with very helpful Customer Service! We needed a customized report that had a special pricing structure and they were able to do this without problem. A few back and forth emails and it came out perfect! This APP has a lot of "bells and whistles" to it so it will be great even for other future reports.

Support was quick to respond. App is affordable and works very well. We use it to export data into an outside database where we process returns. This app saved our buns :)

I am super impressed on what this app can do BUT i am beyond awe the assistance support has provided to make what i needed to do ... done. The challenges i posted to Data Export includes 1. String Manipulation over data fields splitting them apart and joining them together to form new reporting columns 2. Custom Exported Filenames e.g report_month_day.csv 3. Calculated date/time fields These are something you can do in excel but i never expect it to be doable in Shopify ... well, you cannot until you use Data Export. Sometimes, it is not about the app and features alone. The support (real person) which the app provides is the most critical feature in my opinion and they have totally won my biggest vote for the best app on Shopify. Highly recommended for any custom reporting you need for your store.

Exactly what we needed for the reporting! I tried to figure this out within the native Shopify reports, but still wasn't able to do what I needed that Data Export provides!

This is a fantastic app allowing you to pull reports for just about anything imaginable -- The app comes with several pre-built reports but also allows for customization and reporting for any metric. The best part is the customer service who seem to be live just about 24 hours a day and the respond instantly -- They have personally helped me build a few complicated reports and they did it quickly -- I highly recommend this app.

Great app. Makes building and automating dashboards in Google Data Studio easy. Schedule an export of your store data from the data export app to Google Sheets...then connect Google Sheets to Data Studio. These guys will also help you build your sheets until you get the hang of it.
