First let me just start by saying not only is the entire BOLD Support team for ALL of their apps great (and we have 5 of their apps!) We just took our site live 12/20/2016. The team we have worked with so far on the Upsell App (MC, Arcee, Aubrey and Tiff) are all amazing! They are able to solve all sorts of little things I tend to create and have yet not been stumped. Now for the App - it totally works exactly as I would expect. We use it primarily now for offering free samples with our orders, or to offer options to include brochures with certain products. We originally got the Upsell App to do BOGO's which it worked perfectly on, but we have restructured our pricing into tiered discounts with the Quantity Break and Custom Pricing App combo instead. The BOLD Team did all the install for us and have done some free tweaking just for our needs too. Always amazing and totally pleased! organicexcellence.com UPDATE: 2/27/17 Using the app now to 3 months and it still works great! We use it not only for specials but on a daily basis to offer a choice of free samples with each order. Customers love it and so do we. And Ron, Dan, Tiff, Arcee take care of us if we ever have a question with this App. MC, Michael, Aubrey and Zackary help us with our other apps too - the entire team at Bold is GREAT!!!

Product upsell is an app that really "Clicks" with our custmers and helped us to acheive 40% increase in sales on our site - drinkclick.com. The app is very robust, easy to set-up and displays nicely. We needed a little help with a theme update and we reached out to BoldApps Support. Good app. I had to pay $25 just to have them install to shopify, which is not included with the free trial. It would be nice if the monthly price included this installation. But in the long run, it can be worth it. I wish the upsell offer window was easier to customize to better match my store's theme, as well as more flexible when it comes to adding titles to certain offers (only 24 characters allowed). Great customer support. I was helped by Dan, and he was quick to respond, as well as very helpful and courteous. This app can be very beneficial to any online store. The layout of the program can use a little updating, as well as the design of the upsell window, but overall a very good service.

Brendin was awesome! He had corrected my problem within the hour. Excellent support from Bold. Im looking forward to the future with more Bold apps.

I recently purchased and installed Product Upsell in correlation with Product Discount to run a BOGO deal. As a web newbie, I relied on Bold Support's Brendin and Tiff who were EXTREMELY helpful in both the installation, instruction and use of the app. I can't thank them enough for all their help. Looking forward to running more BOGO deals in the future.

I am using Upsell to create a Soap of the Month promotion on my website at www.Soaplicity.com, and it is working so well! It takes me longer than the average person, I feel, to figure these types of apps out, but I am getting it and am excited to utilize its other functions soon. The BOGO functionality is particularly exciting.

I was having trouble installing the app and was just thinking of canceling the free trial. I contacted the customer support and was replied to within minutes from Aubrey. Within an hour and a few emails from Brendin, I was up and running and am overjoyed on how I was treated. top notch customer service. addressed my concerned quickly and I really felt like they had my best interests in mind rather than seeing me as dollar signs. As long as im in shopify, Ill be running Bold products.

We've only used this a couple of times so far but we're happy with the results. Good pull through sales. Turned off a pricey per transaction competing app that cost a lot more and performed worse.

I didn't get sales yet but the team is very helpful and they helped me to setup the app without charging me for that :)

Recently installed this app as a compliment to Bolds Discount app. Thanks to Ron for the continued support and especially to Brendin for getting these two apps working in sync for me. Great service and looks like a great app so far!

I used Bold Product Upsell for about a year. Every day that it was installed, I was hoping they would either fix the defects, or something better would come along. This upsell app has countless "leaks" - that is, if customer adds an item to cart, there should be two choices once the upsell is offered: a) YES - add-to-cart; b) No Thanks. None of this "continue". And the redirect at ATC should be to the place determined by the theme. Upsell just sits there. When asked, Bold replied, "our customers want it this way..." No excuse for mediocre UX. Others have mentioned how this app does not play nicely with the Facebook pixel, especially if you use a professional solution such as Pixel Perfect. Watching the developer of Pixel Perfect and Bold support battle each other gave me a very bad taste about Bold's company culture. Pixel Perfect kept bending over backward, but Bold was not interested. Eventually, Pixel perfect simply coded around Bold without assistance. Then there was the absurdity of how this app bills for "views" and it SHUTS ITSELF OFF if your traffic exceeds your visitor estimate. Seriously. Every other app in the universe that bills based on usage will measure the usage, then you pay. No -- Bold Upsell is the only kid in the parade in-step. The fact that the app just shuts itself off is reckless. The fact that Bold management thinks this is OK says the company culture is messed up. I tried every other upsell app on the market -- I want an upsell at add-to-cart, and I want the yes, upsell to add to cart and redirect to where the store goes ay ATC (/cart) -- and the No Thanks to simply bring us to wherever the redirect would have ben for initial ATC. Which for my store is the cart. I tried them all, and none are ready fro production. After a year with bold on 4 apps (fortunately all removed except for product discount), I will be certain to avoid. This developer preys on inexperienced stores. Don't be fooled. PS -- I found the better mousetrap.

Love the app but shutting it down because we needed to upgrade the plan is unprofessional. You gave our customers a very bad experience while we have Motivator running then the Upsell piece was disabled by Bold and does not show. We should have received an alert way in advance.

Great product! Easy to use. Best of all is the support!! These guys are awesome!

seems to be a solid app but it could not trigger what I needed so I had to uninstall. Trigger at checkout does not allow for a cart /price meaning bulk discount cannot be applied.
