I was looking for a way to integrate paypal for my VIP Members Club that wasn't just the typical small paypal box that you can get from paypal. I found Recurring Memberships in the shopify app store and was thrilled that they offered an actual form on the bottom of my page. It looks so much more professional and I've been grateful for all the help I received along the way. They are more than willing to help anyway they can! I needed a little customization and some text a different color, they were super helpful, I told them what I wanted and they went in and customized it for me very promptly. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great service and excellent products! Support team is Ah-Mazing!! They were able to take what I was emailing them about what I wanted for my paypal box and made it happen! Down to the font color and centering the box on my page. They really went above and beyond to help me out when I needed it. They were very responsive to my website needs.

Great app for running our membership platform. They actively work with you and are always coming out with new features. Next thing needed would be a robust analytics dashboard similar to the one shopify has recently rolled out.

After working out some bugs and kinks with the app conflicting with my theme, everything seems to be working great now. I have been in contact with Chris and he was able to get everything done that we asked. He was quick and responsive to emails and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this app for your store! *edit - As we try to do more with this app, we are finding more and more bugs and running into more issues. Support is good at telling me "the devs are aware and are working on this issue" but doesn't go much further than that.

I'm a developer and tried to get this working and it's still broken.. I also had another developer look into it and he can't get get it working right either. It looks like they set this up so you have to hire them to do it...

I needed a solution to create a members only area for my store to offer special items not available to the general public, and to offer discounts to members at a discounted price. While my store has not gone "live" yet, this was the perfect solution for my situation. Well done.

Forget this application. After 6 days of struggle (I even had to uninstall MailChimp due to conflicts), and after receiving 22 emails from 6 different guys (Chris, Corey and Brendin did not even know what Alan, Mohammad and Bhumi were doing on the same ticket - unbelievable), I finally uninstalled the application.

If I could give no stars I would. Nothing about this app is fully baked nor does it have any of the basics that you would expect from any business: 1. No welcome/thank you/receipt email sent to the customer when they purchase something. 2. Formatting the text in their widget is broken 3. The ability to turn off automated emails for certain items is broken 4. You are stuck with their definition of memberships. I have a 6 month and 1 day membership but can't use them because they don't have them and you can't pick your own 5. The checkout form doesn't include address or zipcode, or company logos, or credit card logos, or encryption type, just a very sketchy generic form that looks like you are phishing customer CC info 6. Their email styling is broken and doesn't save formatting 7. Can't send your customers emails through the app, you have to download them out and upload them into another app then send the emails 8. Absolutely will not give you an estimate of when the broken items will be fixed, meanwhile, I have a very cheesy unprofessional looking website waiting on them and paying monthly fees. 9. Be ready to get emails about the new apps you can sign up for when the ones they have out don't work. Maybe they could QA something before building something else half ass. The only redeeming quality is Chis the support manager tries very hard to support a piecemeal broken product.

I have no idea about coding, and as I am based in Australia the time difference can be somewhat difficult.. But Bhumi was fantastic! Totally sorted out what I couldn't figure out, put it together for me in a pleasant and stress free way! I can highly recommend using Bold Recurring Memberships and reaching out to Bhumi for support.

Cannot say enough good things about the customer support, absolutely ANY thing that I had a question about they went out of their way to assist me from videos to screen shots step by step instructions, Chris, Bhumi and Brendin we above and beyond. They always were prompt with a response and a solution. I am a graphic designer, however I know NOTHING about coding and the backdoor side of web design. They helped me set things up the way I had envisioned, and were very patient with me while I was explaining to them what I wanted and the different requests I had. I recommend this service to ANYONE! Great, great, great customer service!

Hi, I am a very cautious person where I always need to know as much as I can prior to loading any apps. This one was no different so during 2016 and into 2017 I communicated with their support. I have to admit they were quick to respond, professional and honest (no exaggerations) as to the features of their program. In the beginning of May 2017 I knew this would be perfect for my company so I downloaded and had Bold insert all the required code. It took about a week for them to schedule this into their workflow and the changes they made were seamless without any problems to my existing environment. It took me a 2-3 days to get a feel of how everything works and to test the financial side of the process. I am extremely pleased with the tight integration with Shopify & Stripe and my Members have not had any problems purchasing memberships. I have to be honest this app needs serious upgrades. An autoresponse email and new notification would be great additions that are lacking. It also gets expensive quickly as you grow your audience. I can't justify the expense as the app is not a fully functional member manager.

So Far this app is working perfectly for me. I did need some assistance initially setting things up the way I wanted but I got some AMAZING help from Chris! He really put a lot of time and effort into things that I wanted that I wasn't even sure was possible. Definitely try out this app because even if your not sure what to do, Chris or the other Support members are very accessible and amazingly Helpful!! If you have Bold Membership do the install be VERY CAUTIOUS! I failed to create a backup prior to their install and deeply regret it. After the install the app did not function as advertised - no members only area was created and could not get any help as to where or how to create it. The install also created cascading effects on my theme causing the pricing to completely disappear off my site, other formatting issues occurred. As far as support goes, expect anywhere from 24-48hrs for email response time. Every time I replied to an email a different staff person from the Bold team would respond so I'd end up having to explain again. Needless to say I worked with four people from the Bold Membership team and got nowhere. I worked with Pixel Union to help sort out the pricing issue and they responded and said Bold was overriding the pricing display and could not help. My store had to be closed for over a week to try and hunt down the errors that the Bold Membership had caused.

It just doesn't work. It never creates subscription box order and I can't manually see shipping address that used entered to manually ship the order! The experience is not the smoothest (1), it's still limited functionality: It's possible to only have text field and text area as additional info fields. It shouldn't be that hard to make all the other input fields types available, too. Some email templates are not possible to save templates for (member invite template). I ended up doing a lot of extra work that I think the app itself should offer, not that a developer should develop to enhance the app functionality. The documentation is confusing and limited. (1) - The widget/form is loaded via AJAX; First some basic form is visible and then the translation and everything else happens in an AJAX callback
