I've tried to like Bold Apps, I really have. And I'm not one to write a poor review without first trying to make an attempt to contact them numerous time. But there support has been completely non-existent. I've tried an app over a year ago and when I wrote to them just about a general inquiry, I never received a reply and since then found another app with much better response times. Last week I decided to give bold discounts a try and requested installation. It's been a week and once again I have tried contacting them and nothing. Supposed to have a 14 day trial, but cannot even use the app and now I'm down to 8 days left and still no way for the app to function on my site. If they are busy, I understand. But better communication would be best as to at least let me know if they received my request.

It's nice that it help me to create the discount that Shopify cannot create, and it looks great. Unfortunately it need to be paid

Rajni and Bhumi are super helpful fixing any issues with the apps. The apps are great once fine tuned. It made me quite a return on my investment. Well worth it.

It works great, but you need the 35 dollar version, if you want the prices to also change in the shopify system and not just frontend.

I was excited about the app and their suite of products but a bad support experience pointed me elsewhere. Inept support more concerned about their positive/negative rating than actually providing support. Lack of communication and finger-pointing when action not taken. Slow response - problem left unsolved. I ended up going with another app that does the same thing. Sour taste left for BOLD and I will be avoiding all of their products going forward.

Unless you have a TON of time do NOT update this app from an earlier version. I would recommend waiting until forced (cross your fingers it won't happen). They will offer a 'free' manual install if you have a customized theme but I don't know about you, but I don't want anyone messing with my theme code (which they don't have any experience with) with no oversight. Overall I'd lump this app in with the general bad IT practices that are far too common with the Shopify community, but that shouldn't give them a pass. UPDATE: I ended up letting them do the modifications on our store after they assured me that they knew what they are doing. Well, once they did the work (totally unannounced) our cart no longer worked (our customer service let me know) so I had to roll it all back. They also left a published test-product sitting around for purchase.

Great support - Kelsey was quick / efficient and very helpful. Would recommend this app for feature and amazing support :)

I used this app and it worked great during the free trial. Once I used it for a bigger discount on more products, that's when the issue started. First problem, it turned all my "Out of stock" products in to "Sold Out" even though they had been selected to "Continue Selling When Out of Stock". Second problem, after I deleted the discount to correct the issue, the discounted price still continued to show and products continued to show "Sold Out". I manually changed over 100 products to remove the discounted price, but after a few minutes they all went back to the discounted price. I then tried an Import CVS file of all my products with the correct price, and after a few minutes I had the same discounted price and "Sold Out" appear. When I reached out to customer service, the representative kept blaming other applications in my store on the issue. I hadn't had any issues with the other apps that have been working great for months now. I have used the Shopify platform for 5 years, I have a pretty good idea on how the apps work and how they integrate. This new app triggered a series of problems on my website, and they would not want to admit it. I just wanted to uninstall and reinstall the application to see if the problem could be resolved, but they would avoid answering me on whether I could do that or not, so I am uninstalling. I liked the app before the issues. Hopefully, you won't have my same issue. Good luck.

Great app. Easy to use, and does the job! However, if you have many products the app can take up to 10 hours or more to apply the discounts. Also, we have recently requested the app to be removed and it has taken over a week and multiple emails and they have yet to remove the remaining code on our site. Update: after they saw the review they reached out and removed the code.

I have been searching and trying different app that can work on extra discount offer. This one work the best so far and the supporting team is very responsive on my inquiry. Thank you!

It's not working great and i've been waiting almost 10 days. still not help getting the app installed correctly. My sale is over now so it was messed up the entire sale.

Great app so far! Very easy to use and lots of features. Much nicer to use than organising discounts in Shopify

Amazing app!! You can create discounts REAAALLY easy. The best part is the customer service! Challi solved all of my problems! The only "issue" is that the installation is not automatic, so they have to do it and it takes a while.

Prices sometimes come up correct and other times are incorrect. It is become a mess with our customers
