Update: Just to let you know again here we are 2 weeks later and they havent added the feature that is in daily deals WHERE you can deselect a product variant so that item wont go on sale. I can tell you the user interface is very pretty and being able to search for items its pretty robust. The ONLY downfall I noticed is the product variant for which most people wouldnt care but its big for us since we have a lot of variations. Yeah im frustrated now. When using this I should have taken in consideration everything. For instance with the other app I can NOT put a discount on a certain variation, with this app its all or nothing. I have to take a star away from them. The name is true, Product Discount not Product Discounts. Ill have to wait for them to fix it and go back to my other discount app. Update: Got an email from either the marketing guy or the owner truly concerned with my mishap. He offered to help but explained the limitation calls on the API side which I can understand which is another shopify bug i dont see being fixed anytime soon. These dont have graphic images like the other app, kind of a big deal to me and def worth losing a star off of. Used it for a little and I cant tell you that it is very customizeable and its a little easier to select items then its competition. I went into this thinking it was going to be like the other one but this has more features, you can even search by tag Oh my my my. First off I was thinking when they said it was a one time charge its going to beat the hell out of daily-deals. Let me tell you something. Yeah no. It updates SO slow and they even made a post about it blaming it on shopify throttling. I Can tell you first hand that the app daily deals will get all your sales done in less than 10 minutes. Why bold doesnt update their feature to use the same script daily deal is beyond me.

Easy to use Intuitive powerful and effective

Very simple to use. Offers multiple options and displays your sale in a highly visible way. The time clock feature is great for creating urgency without being over bearing. I recommend you spend the $10 and have bold install, unless you are fairly good at pasting in code in the liquid areas. This app will be a major part of our marketing.

I have been using the Product Discount app for a past week and it does exactly what is stated in the description. Excellent app with excellent support.

This app is awesome and very customizable. I had a couple issues at first, getting all the code in the correct place, but I emailed customer support and Ron got back to me very quickly and walked me through all my problems with a clear, concise and effective email response. This is such an amazing App. It is really quick and very easy to learn and have up on your site working within a very short time. If you can't quite manage to get it up and running yourself, then the guys are there to help and support you all the way through, they will even do part of it for you if you choose. You can change colours and format the clocks countdown layout etc to suit your own personal likes, needs, colours and designs to work with your website. You have choices of the "SALE" tag that you wish to use. The support is absolutely amazing, even when you are living in the complete opposite timezone. They guys there are very quick to get back to you, and will help you all the way. Although I have only just started using this app, it has certainty generated many more sales than I even thought it would. I already have BOLDS UPSELL app, so with the two of these working together, the results are even bigger.. Also, there are NO discount codes for people to put into the final part of the sale.. This is so much "cleaner" to work with. You can choose which items you want on sale, so once again you have control over your sales totally...A brilliant app. I personally give it 5 stars.

I'm actually rather angry I found this app AFTER I manually changed all the prices for our winter sale. After hanging my head, then banging it repeatedly against the keyboard, I changed the prices back, installed this, and the sale was ready to go within minutes. It's one of those common sense apps that should be an out-of-the-box feature, but isn't. The flat, upfront fee is totally worth it.

AMAZING APP!! A++++. So user friendly and easy to use to run bulk sales in my shop. Definitely recommend!!

Kick ass! Must have! Killer upsell! OK that's enough you get the picture, if you have a shopify store and you don't have this app you are losing money, it's that simple.

This app was exactly what I needed for me to execute my storewide sale. The setup was a breeze and everything worked perfectly! I made back what I spent for the plugin in less than an hour!

I love it! It just makes it so easy to have online sales and create discounts - big or small. It saves me tons of time = money, because everything runs automatically in the app.

I finally watched the tutorial for how to create a Daily Deal and...WOW!!! I used it for both my Black Friday and Christmas promotions. It was amazingly easy to set up (I set up an entire week's worth of Daily Deals in about 30 minutes) and then I just sat back and watched it do it's magic all week! My sales pretty much went through the roof during each week I had a Daily Deal. By far, this is the best marketing tool I have in my arsenal. Great customer service, too. Highly recommend!

Great app that is super easy to create storewide sales. Switching our site over from Magento, I was worried I wouldn't have control over bulk sales but this app made it super easy. I prefer paying one price upfront too rather than ongoing fees. Thanks guys

Bold apps are great, there are many great features and it is quick and easy to tag things into new sale collections. We have not done any A/B testing on the count down timer yet for our designer bikini website but I highly suspect that it converts much better. This is a great App for controlling pricing and promoting sales. Intuitively designed and super easy to use. Retail is a discount industry and this App will give you the tools to run your online shop quickly and efficiently.....its an essential App for an online store, simple as that.

The bold team is definitely dedicated to making useful apps supported by excellent customer service. However, I found this app to be extremely sensitive and the first promotion I launched ended with many items having their set discount doubled by the app... so instead of having an awesome and successful sale I ended up with a ton of orders with items sold at 50% off the sale price (lost lots of money on these sales)! The support team could not really resolve this issue (in spite of being responsive to the support ticket) and it sounds like many users had a similar experience around the time I did (Black Friday week). So, be aware, that any slight change made to items in your store while a sale is active has the potential to mess things up significantly. And that sucks.

This is a great app and so easy to use! Has made my life so much easier during this busy time of year. Love having timed sales and the countdown timer is just a great extra bonus! Every store needs this app!
