This app is so complicated and repeated request to customer service were not answered. This was my first time buying it in full and it was a BIG MISTAKE. There should be an onboarding call or someone to help if you are charging full price upfront. We would love a refund- since it's apparent we never were able to even set up the first discount but our request for a refund was refused. BUYER BEWARE

It has taken me a bit to figure out the workability of this app, although I do feel like I am not a savvy as most. BUT, now I am loving it. I can use it to create discounts and make temporary collections that feature on my website AND it also incorporates immediately to my Shopify POS. That means I don't have to worry about my employees missing a discount at checkout. Saves a lot of time in the long run once it gets set up. I am looking forward to how Bold will streamline this app in the coming futuer.

Overall good app, however the much much cheaper ones have so much more the pleasing Graphical UI (user interface) options, including fancy clocks that actually look like it is a deal, rather than just text. I would expect better CSS and styling options, even graphics, from such a OVER PRICED app. When the sales justifies the cost of this app, I'll go back to the 1.99 a month apps that actually look amazing and do the exact same thing this does. This is a rip off compared to the others out there.

So far, I'm not impressed. Not only did I pay to have them adjust the appearance of my sale icon and it has not been completed in the 2-day time frame, but when I add items to my sale, they do not get added to the app's rules so half of my collection does not appear to be on sale. I did email them about this but haven't heard back from anyone. I'll revise my review as my experience changes. Fingers crossed that this gets better. *UPDATE 2/13/17* Sadly I am having problems with the sale prices not being calculated/showing. I have contacted support and will update this review accordingly. On a positive note, once I got someone to help me with installing the sale banner, they were AWESOME to work with and went above and beyond to make that right.

Would like to give them a rare 6 Stars The BEST and EASIEST App to manage plan, set-up, Multiple promotions etc compared to other apps i have tested, The UI is friendly, has everything you need, Setting a promo is child friendly simple. the teem was very helpful resolving an accidental double charge. This is worth the $99. SUGGESTION - 1. Update: I just installed the Upsell app to compliment the discount app. Working great and excellent help from Brendin at Bold to help me get these two apps working together. I had a few teething problems with the installation that were resolved in a timely manner. Ron, a support leader at Bold knows a thing or two about customer service. I've been using this app now for about a week in conjunction with Kit and it's great. The functionality and ease of use is very good. Hopefully it will continue to show value over the coming months and I'm already trying to decide what other Bold apps I can pair with it...

This company is amazing! I had issues using their apps as they didn't fit perfectly the strategy I wanted to implement for my business. Not only they totally understood my needs, but they also got involved and spent hours trying to make it work for me. They even called me after hours to make sure all was good. Amazingly Dedicated Support for sure!!! And the products are 5 stars! Also I have made the custom install myself using their Install Guide and all went perfect. I am not a developer but their Install guide was so well documented, I was able to modify all the liquid and theme files without any problem. I got this app to work in tandem with product upset. Product upsell is not working correctly, and I am getting the run around from Bold. I have support tickets that seemingly are ignored. Responses that I do get do not relate to the issue. nobody answers the phone or calls back. Horrible Support services. The worst I have ever seen.

I had this app installed on 2 stores for Black Friday. Had to uninstall it 30 minutes after my sale started as it was not working as it was supposed to. Had been testing them out for about 2 weeks and all the edits I had made on one store, kept copying over to my other store. I thought I was hallucinating. They acknowledged the issue and blamed it on something about L Frame. They said I could only make changes to one store at a time ( I had both stores open in different browser tabs). It was a pain in the butt to do because both stores are exactly the same, just set up for different currencies. I moved ahead anyways and tested and tested and tested to make sure everything looked good. At midnight on Black Friday the app basically crashed. My social media and inbox was a mess with customers complaining that: 1. discounts weren't showing up on product pages. 2. when the discounts did show up, they disappeared by the time customers were ready to check out. For some customers, worked perfectly fine. At the end of it all, it turned into a huge administrative headache that we didn't need and didn't do as well as we'd predicted. We believe that this app is the cause. We historically have just used promo codes for big sales, but wanted to avoid the headache of "I forgot to use the code" and wanted to do sitewide, timed sales. Cleaning up the Bold mess was an even bigger mess that we're STILL dealing with as customers are receiving their credit card statements. A few days later I contacted their support to express my disappointment and asked for a refund, they agreed to do so and said it would be done in 10 days or so. I contacted them again after not seeing the refund, they said to check again Dec 25 (????). As of Jan 5, 2017, I STILL Don't have a refund. Update Jan 6th. Finally received my refund

Product Discount saved me a lot of time during the holiday season and it's worth the cost. I like that this is a one time payment product. It's pricey but worth it.
