I am on the free plan but Mcafee have been charging me 49 usd for over 12 months, terribly dishonest..

The service is superb and provides security and reassurance to the customer. Thank you for providing this application and providing free service for beginners.

Prices vary based on site traffic. Instead of $19 per month (annually) or even $25 per month, when the UPGRADE button is clicked, the fee is $49 per month (annually) or $65 monthly. With only 500 visits, the free version lasts me about a day. Not paying in excess of $600 per year. BBB Accreditation is better deal.

Excellent little app on the free version. Adds some trust to the bottom right of my screen. Not intrusive or obstructing other areas. I’m very pleased with it so far

McAfee so far proves to be a great indicator that a website (or shop) is a reliable shop where people can buy with confidence. Their free trial is great, but need to make more changes in their Paid plans, to have a cheaper one than the 25$/month, or at least make it "Pay Per visitor" plan. Have been using the free app for over 2 years now, and just upgraded to the pro version. Overall, I can say it helps convert the 10%-20% of customers who are skeptical becuase they don't know your site so well yet. I want to clarify the 5 stars has nothing to do with the support I've received. Only the results that have occurred as a result of installing the app. McAfee support is pretty bad in my opinion. They don't respond to your e-mails and spam your e-mail constantly asking you to upgrade. I see from other comments that I'm not the only one. Oh well, I can't deny that they've helped me increase my sales revenue, although I wonder if it's just a giant AI bot running the show.

Created my GoDaddy and Shopify accounts with different e-mail addresses and hadn't realized it. So when I tried to upload my trust badge to my store it wouldn't work. I contacted support, they got back to me fairly quickly, realized what the issue was and merged the two accounts. Once the accounts were merged, all it took was one click for my trust badge to appear! I love it! It gives my store an extra edge and allows my customers to feel secure and safe buying from me!

We recently installed McAfee SECURE Certification Pro. Our sale hasn't increased yet. So it is too fast to give 5 stars. If our sale increased steadily, we are going to change the 4 stars to 5 stars. We will see. Thank you! Update - 6/OCT/2018 We gave 4 stars when we installed this app. We have been using this app for a few month now. Our sales have increased for sure. We still need to increase our sales with the help of this app. So we hope this app will help us more to expand our business! We give 5 stars because we are sure that McAfee Secure will help us more! So far its been really nice having this logo/app on my site. I think as soon as soon someone visits the store and sees the logo they immediately feel comfortable especially when they can click the logo to learn more about the security of my site.

By far the best app I have on my store. Like a professional security guard, this app always SHOWS PRESENCE at the bottom right side of my store. The app presence is constant reminder for the customer that my store is a safe place to enter their credit card information. I LOVE THIS APP!

Moved from BC to Shopify a little over 3 months ago. From the minute I installed this app they inundate you with emails about upgrading to the Pro version. As anyone who has launched or moved a site knows you have a million things to do and its incredibly stressful. This was the case for me and I didn't have a chance to respond to the email so they finally called me today when I'm on the way to the PO and don't have time to talk so I cut the guy off + they removed the seal from my site claiming because my footer mentions the site is secured by McAfee. My best conversion month since moving was the month I was getting hit by spam bots and the free McAfee seal only showed for one day so I just deleted it. App owners STOP harassing people who install the free version of your app - we know about your Pro versions, have checked out your websites and we will upgrade when + if we see fit. We're not idiots. People take for granted that adding a secure badge like this will increase your conversions when it isn't a given. Some studies show it actually lowers your conversions . . .

This app is great helps ensure customer security. Definitely recommend it! It has helped me grow my business

Bonne app , sauf que beaucoup d'option sont devenue payant et dont certains comme la réduction de la taille du logo est abuser je trouve , soit faudrait qu'il réduit le prix de leur abonnement , mais globalement le potentiel de cette app est super.
