We are using the app now sind 2 weeks and it works fine so far even there are some things which work not well or could be better. So if the address is not writen correct your not able to add even though you can find it on google maps. It takes all lot of time to change and find the right spelling. Sometimes there are addresses which can not be added and i still dont know why. Adding also already fullfiled order would be great, sometimes by accident one order is marked as fullfiled and than you dont have any chance to add them again! Regards Thomas

A lot of potential, you guys need to work on a few things to make it faster for sellers to fullfill orders. We sell food and time is very important. I can´t mark as paid on the local delivery app.

This app has a lot of potential. However, I want to be able to make my delivery lists, then provide customers with updates regarding their orders easily from my phone. For example: out for delivery, delivered (with picture confirmation). Also need to be able to access their phone number and name from the delivery view because many deliveries to apartments require a call to the customer.

I cannot submit feedback inside the app. It asks me to, but it just spins. Needs these improvements: Orders not paid should say "Payment Not Received" and have a button to mark as paid. Fumbling back and forth while the customer is standing there trying to get their total, mark their order as paid is too much. It's too easy to drive away, not realizing that payment was required. Once you mark a delivery as attempted, there is no way to re-deliver it unless you add it to a new list. So if I'm out delivering and someone isn't home, I don't have a way to circle back and deliver when they get home. I have to make a new delivery list, add that order back in, then switch to that list. The customers names should appear on the Delivery List. My customers are messaging me on Facebook and IG but I can't pull up their order for an ETA because the order list doesn't show their names. I have to fumble back to the regular app, type in their name, get their order number, then switch back to the delivery app, then switch back to messenger. It would also be nice to send them an ETA based on the delivery route. Also, mileage does not show on the delivery list. It shows kilometers even though the app is set to imperial.

We used this app to coordinate deliveries we do ourselves, some large orders for wholesalers, and other small retail orders. Overall it is pretty good, though it would be great if it had a built in GPS/routing software, rather than prompting to Google. I would also love it if you could edit orders once placed (not currently able) and if orders with $0.00 total could be ordered (for example if somebody uses a discount code to cover the whole charge, the order is ineligible for Local Delivery). Otherwise pretty helpful!

I love this app I just wish there were a way to add orders that arent in my shop. I dont have the option to manually create a delivery order, so when i get one i have to use another app to navigate but the route isnt optimized this way so it is a headache. I also wish I could change a pickup to delivery so it will pop up on my available to add to route. Sometimes a customer clicks the wrong thing at checkout and I need to add a sale to a delivery route but can't since they didn't pick delivery. ..Otherwise this app is the best

I find the app/local delivery option pretty useless. I cannot set a free delivery above certain price level. I cannot add a time/date picker... If a customer orders above an X amount, the post delivery is free of charge. But if they select the local pickup, they have to pay for the delivery. Doesn't make sense.

Couldn't use this app because there is no ability to create shipping rules. You can add only one rule for the entire inventory. No product profiles, no price tiers, and no shipping speed. Hope this gets better.

I was really excited when I saw this app had arrived but its a huge disappointment frankly. As a company that exclusively does local deliveries it could be a game changer but currently it's worthless I'm sad to say. -The local delivery limit doesn't seem to actually inhibit orders out of the area from being made, but some inside it does. -the lack of ability to select it as an option from a draft order is a very strange omission. -the lack of multiple delivery rate threshold options based on order amount and/or distance from business location is a wasted opportunity. -when you do get the app to work and manage to select orders to calculate a route, the app always does them furthest order away first. The ability to change this to nearest to furthest would be useful, it makes no business sense to carry your entire day's deliveries to the furthest address away first, burning more fuel than needed. -once you've got a route (even though it is backwards) you then can't do anything with it. The app never lets me store it to recall the next day or send to another user with access to the shop. It needs to be sharable as a Google maps route so the delivery driver can click on it and set off on his or her way. -admin needs to be able to choose the orders for a route, save the list, name it and share it with the delivery driver. -local delivery orders also need to be editable, they are no different to any other order in that respect. Sort a few of these things out and it's getting there! Drafts orders input at the very least.

This app looks very nice and offers very useful functionality; unfortunately it doesn't work reliably. It supports selection of the local delivery area either by distance from the store or postcode selection. Unfortunately, the distance calculation fails for some perfectly valid addresses and tells the customer they can't have local delivery even though they are just round the corner from the store (ticket 18373431 refers). The postcode selection probably works OK in Canada, but it doesn't work in the UK because it only supports simple prefix matching and UK postcodes are not fixed format - and the upper limit on the number of postcodes is too small to list all valid postcodes. Then when it comes to actually placing orders on the map, it insists that the addresses customers enter must be "validated" and instructs you to go and change them if they fail this validation. However, there's no way to work out what constitutes a valid address, and if you can't make it valid then the app refuses to add the customer address to the delivery list - and so you can't trigger the email notifications for "out for delivery" or "delivered" even manually. (ticket 18836818 refers). If they actually fixed these bugs then I'd give a 5-star rating, but at the moment it's unusable.

I tried this app out first in June 2020, when it still had many limitations. Now, in August 2020, some things have improved: order from draft is possible and also there is now a dedicated driver app. Therefore, I'm bumping up my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I can confirm I technically can create orders of type "local delivery" from draft. What I need to do is enter a valid destination (--> zip code) so that the validation module can find local delivery as a valid delivery method. Implement areas include: 1. Delivery type "Local Delivery" is still immutable - imagine customer changes their mind and calls us to switch from 'local pickup' to 'local delivery'. Or a customer that didn't see 'local delivery' as an option because they entered zip code in the wrong format (In Poland, 12-345 is correct but around 2% still write 12345) and chose a different shipping method just for the sake of being able to check out. 2. The shipping method step of the checkout is pretty much a black-box, so customer is left in the dark guessing, and there are no helpful error messages. All my customers get if they enter the zip code wrong is "We don't deliver to your address.”. PLEASE finally roll out Google Address Validation across the globe! Yes - it is rolled out for merchants across the world. But no - it is not rolled out for customer addresses around the world. Polish addresses do not have this feature, and I frequently have a customer mistype the zip code - this customer would not find the "Local Delivery" option 3. As a shopper, it is impossible to see when to expect the delivery before purchasing. This is a big no-go. Please add some rudimentary slot booking system, or at least allow app devs to switch over from regular deliveries to the new “local delivery” feature 4. Allow me to set “free “orders over xx$” For now, it is still impossible for me to switch from Zapiet, even though I really really like the more detailed delivery states of "Local Delivery" vs. an ordinary order

There's some functionality missing that I would love to see implemented however: -The ability to set multiple delivery prices (I.e. charge a price for local delivery if the purchase amount is under a certain threshold) -The ability to select it as an option when creating orders from draft orders -The ability to assign orders using other shipping options to local delivery All in all, though really excited to see how this feature evolves -Sammy

I used this app to help me managing my deliveries and integrate it with my own dispatchers. The integration with the address codes are not working well. In the shipping address I need to always correct the addresses input from the customers by using the ZIP code into the address field and then matching with the ZIP code field. A customer will always insert in the Address field only the street name because there is a separate field for the ZIP code
