As far as the app goes it has run very smoothly. It integrates well with my shop and I don't have to do a thing when an order is placed. Yay for passive profits! Some of the issues people listed below are in regard to Printful itself, they are there (slow turnaround sometimes, certain colors don't print well - order a swatch sample!) but the app works great and they have WONDERFUL customer service. Very prompt and friendly.

I've been using Printful for a few weeks now. I really love the concept because it allows me to attempt to start a T-Shirt (brand) company at a low investment. The 2 stars are for 1) their awesome customer service and 2) for the print quality. Some people complained about print quality but so far I have been happy, despite the placement of my logos not matching the product mockup. The customer service is by far their best attribute, while it is impossible to receive real-time customer service, the responses are generally quick and extremely helpful. All the replies from different team members and genuinely helpful. I would like to offer more of their products to my customers, but the costs are just so high that it's impossible to offer them at a reasonable rate. Example 1: their cheapest mug is $10 and shipping it is $11, so I am charged $21 for a mug: JOKES! I wouldn't want to charge over $12 in the first place for a cheap white mug so charging $25+ to my customers is out of the question. Example 2: their 12x16 canvas is $45 and shipping it is $36, meaning we're already at an unreasonable cost to me of $81: forget about it. My customers don't want to pay $100 for a tiny Cavas of my photography. PROS: - Customer Service - Print Quality - No overhead - Little to no risk CONS: - Extremely high costs of goods - High Shipping rates - Product printing can differ from your mockup - Extremely slow shipping Overall I am happy with the service because it enables me to test out a market for a brand I wish to create at very little cost to myself. Because I am trying to create a brand rather than make money, I can use Printful. If you are looking to make money, look elsewhere, unless you already have a client base. If you price your products reasonably, your profit margin will be extremely low. I am using Printful in hopes of building a brand within the next 8-14 months. If I don't succeed, no big deal as the cost is nominal. If I do succeed, I can drop Printful, print local and start making money! Either way: Printful did its job. *If not for terribly slow shipping and most products being too expensive, I would rate 4-5 stars* July 13 EDIT: Fulfilment and Shipping are beyond irritating. I haven't marketed my new store yet so it's Family and Friends only... which makes it even more embarrassing. Point in case: my friend put an order in June. It was shipped June 26. 20 days later, she has yet to receive the product. It's ridiculous. I'll never have repeat customers with this kind of bogus shipping service. And I'm in Toronto! I can't imagine if it were an order outside of North America. I have another order that was placed July 5..... 8 days later and the only update is "Sorting Completed" so it has yet to be fulfilled, let alone shipped. JOKES Changing my Final Verdict Rating to 1 STAR. Unless Printful helps me out and fixes some serious issue then I can lift the rating to 3-5 stars depending on service provided.

- Friendly customer service. - Printing quality is good. Most of my customer happy with the printing when they received the shirts. - The tracking link (International shipment) they provided sometime not able to get a full tracking information until the destination of the shipment. - Some of the size will out of stock sometime and affected the fulfilment date, but they are slowly improving on this issue. - The respond speed of the customer service can be improve. Sometime fast, sometime have to wait for few days.

I've been using Printful for a few months after weighing my options. I previously operated a store on another platform and had a terrible experience with the print quality & shipping speed. Printful does a far better job on the print quality front, but just as bad in shipping. So bad, that I've had to discount a customer's order due to the speed of fulfillment. I realize that there's most likely a huge number of orders every week, but fulfilling a customer's order shouldn't take 2 weeks. I'm rating 3 stars, as I also understand that Printful saves me loads of money on overhead, since I treat this is a low-to-no-investment business.

Thought it was cool until i ordered myself a sample, needless to say its been 3 weeks, no sample, tracking number hasn't been updated at all, no responses to my emails, I can't trust you guys with my customers, i'm reversing the transaction just incase you think you can outsmart me. I wouldn't waste my time folks, nothing good here.

Ordered 2 samples, 1 sample faded after 1 wash along with the print not being straight on the shirt, the other sample lettering is twice as big as the other. Tried calling, no one answers, the live chat only seems to be open when they feel like it. Still waiting on a email back. I believe the people that have written great reviews about this app may have never looked at their products being sold. Paying $47.00 for 2 samples is also upsetting. I was hoping to have my shop up and running by now but since I have to wait on a reply back from Printful, I will probably seek a more reliable avenue. I want my customers to have quality printing and if there are any issues and want them to be resolved promptly and I don't see this happening with Printful.

From our own experience, we can say that Printful is a great complement for our business. Not only because of their quality printing and fulfillment services, but also for their incredibly supportive and responsive customer service. In a time where the way you do business online is evolving rapidly and constantly improving you need to make sure that your business is engaged with the right suppliers/partners. The API integration with this app and our website was easy, no special tech needed. It has improved the way our store runs and it gives us the time we need to focus on product developing, customers and marketing.

Great idea, bad implementation. The good reviews on here are from people who have never seen the finished product or are ignorant to printing. 50/50 on customer service and the print quality is horrible. For the price you would hope for high quality. Unfortunately to save a couple bucks their printer is set to use minimal ink and it shows on the final product. If you don't care about quality and are not looking for much profit this is a great resource for you. If you want quality, strike a deal with a local screen printer, the smaller shops are always willing to bargain and you will pay a 1/5 of what these guys charge. That adds up quick, after selling 5 shirts through Printful and turning a meager 20 to 30% profit you could have bought locally and made an 80% profit margin and paid 1/2 for shipping. Shipping is $5 for a shirt! I pay $2.50 myself and they have bulk discounts!! The little profit you get is still getting whittled down. I hope someone else does this right, I could really use the service!

Printful is a great company to work with They currently do most of my fulfilment for me and their service is always on point. They're helpful when you reach them, their chat is a great option when you're in a pinch, and I've found that any time I'm in a tough spot with a customer they've stepped up to be helpful and done the right thing to make what could have been a bad customer experience a good one. They seem to understand that their support of me is what makes my support possible for my customers and that's the biggest thing for a company like them. Hoping they continue to expand their product offerings! Awesome to work with would fully recommend to anyone. - chris

Seamless, extremely easy to use. High shipping prices, but that's a small price to pay for not having to carry inventory when starting your business.

PROS: Awesome Concept, Awesome App, Awesome Support, Awesome Integration CONS: Prices are two high to make any real profit so it's a great way to get your brand out there and generate a following and not make any money. Then once you a following stop using them and do everything in house or use a different print company. It's also very hard to setup I had 3 people working on loading 50 designs over the course 2 or 3 months each working 30 hours a week and we finally just got the site going. It works great once you get it setup but there is a lot of prep work you have to do to make it happen. SUGGESTIONS: I don't know if this possible but if there is anyway you can get the costs down on your products that would be great otherwise your force us to sell T-Shirt for $30 to $35 and lets be honest no one is spending that on t-shirts with all the other t-shirt sites out there selling shirts for $10 to $20 a shirt. The canvas prints we can say is "Art" so we can jack the price up because it's an art print but the bread and butter money comes from t-shirts and posters and if there is no more profit in these things where we can reduce prices. We could never count on this as our main source of business. This is just a nice "extra pocket change" type of businesses. If we could get retail prices down to $19 a shirt with shipping included in that price and get the costs down to $13 with shipping included it would be worth it. The problem is by the time you add shipping your costs are around $20 to $22 depending on sizes so in order to make any money you have to sell them at $30 which is a hard sell. Especially if you want to run promos like free shipping on everything over $75. So I would recommend getting the prices down for re-sellers because your prices are like retail prices not wholesale. Also.. yeah it would be cool if it was a little easier to setup but we can deal with that at least.. but the prices are a killer.. I would think they are going to shoot themselves in the foot because all your doing is giving us a platform to get our brand out and the first chance our brand takes off we are looking for ways to reduce the cost and the first way to do that is to stop using printful. So I would think they would want to keep our business and the way they do that is lower their prices otherwise I'm just going to use them for a year, get my business going and say good bye to them and do everything either in house or with another company. VERDICT: I recommend them still even after my little rant about prices, you can't beat an automated business for $30 a month. Once the designs are done and you recovered your cost there it's pure profit it's just disappointing that there is not more of it because the margins are so slim so we really need to do volume. Which is hard when your selling shirts at $30 a pop. All that said though.. great company.. great people ... quality products.

The pricing of the shirts are a tad bit high and the shipping can take awhile. What's great about this service though is that you don't need to order shirts in bulk.

Great concept, but pricing is extremely high and fulfillment is way too slow (if at all) to be a real player beyond a side show for brands. I would caution anyone to use this as a main source as a business. If you are an existing brand and want to make company shirts (for no profit) or something similar, this may work. Otherwise, just a good concept at the moment with no plans on reducing pricing with increased growth and volume (from their mouth). No Economies of Scale?
