The premise of PDQ is really simple: test the snot out of the most valuable chokepoint for any e-commerce business, the checkout. Test user reviews, shipping options, delivery promises, upsells, cross sells, etc. Why PDQ over others? -They are maniacally focused on checkout. Also checkout. And if you ask, checkout. -They pull ideas from what they are testing with other clients. You’re onboarding a testing agency disguised as an app. -They will do the work FOR YOU. No developers needed. For small teams like ours, this was a critical differentiator. It’s like the classic definition of Modern Art: Modern art = I could have done that + Yeah, but you didn’t Stop saying to yourself that you’ll get to it, install their app, and get to testing.

The opportunity for extra revenue is worth it if you have enough traffic for quick test results! We did run into one issue where another app conflicted with our test and broke the site for a few days, which is why I'm giving 4 stars, but PDQ did their best to make it right.

Great experience with PDQ so far - previously, checkout was a portion of our site we never even considered "testable", and PDQ unlocked that for us and made running split tests there (on shipping rates, thresholds, upsells, etc.) very easy and straightforward, already driving some exciting results.
