Breaks often. We've lost customers over it.

Just started using bundle builder 1.5 weeks ago to build gift sets for the holidays. I have submitted 3 tickets and received no response. This is a critical - the MOST important part of our holiday planning and to get no response is really frustrating as we have spent a lot of time picking out which bundle app to use (tested 10!) to try and find the one that had the best design and capabilities. We are about to add 20 more bundles but it has been so buggy and with no support we will have to take over 40 hours of work and throw it away. It keeps losing our images and no one will help us. Very disappointing.

BEWARE - new predatory pricing model. Huge costs for merchants. DO NOT USE. While our initial experience was OK with this app - as soon as we started doing any real volume, the developer changed the pricing model on us and LOCKED US OUT of the app and disabled bundle builder on the front end until we would pay them $299 a month AND 1.5% of all orders placed through the app. This is a 400% increase in cost just for the subscription alone - we are into over 1000% increase in costs once the 1.5% surcharge on all orders is included. This should be criminal. This was not even an existing charge tier when we signed up for the app around 1 year ago. Check out shopify's own integrated bundle builder and avoid this app at all costs if you are anything above a garage-level seller - at least they have some degree of accountability and desire to keep you on the platform. This new tier does not even offer any tangible benefit to the user beyond "better customer service." Low-effort cash grab. DO NOT USE.

Very happy with this app, exactly what we were looking for, i would love to have a starting template/s when using the template creator for quicker setup, but for now we accomplished what we were looking for. Exceptional customer service i have to add! Shoutout to Natalie who was very patience and guide me with all my doubts :)

The team at Bundle Builder are extremely responsive and creative at problem solving, key issue was "How to create manual bundle builder customer orders in the back end". Have to call out Natalie in particular, she was prepared to jump on a call, talk through some issues, most importantly she listened! She even created a step by step video for my team & I to clearly understand how to use the app to overcome our problem! We at Care Food Co are now happily embedding the app into our store to drive improved customer experience and sales

These guys are good. This APP has really helped increase my stores the average check out transaction amount as more customers bundle products. The support team is very responsive.

We've been using Bundle Builder for a number of years and the product is excellent. The support team are fantastic and recently solved an issue for us, without any fuss. Bundle Builder has definitely saved us a lot of time but more importantly it has led to increased sales.

Definitely don't expect a quick response from their customer service if something goes awry with their app and you need immediate tech support. 2 of my best selling bundles stopped working for no reason. I needed it to be fixed immediately since it was costing me potential sales. I messaged them at night, received one unhelpful response in the morning and then nothing else for the rest of the day and night. I ended up having to spend my entire day trying to figure this out on my own because my customers were complaining. Maybe not the best app for US customers. Will be looking at other options.

It works in theory, however this caused so many headaches with google merchant integration. We could not fix this after reaching out to support many times. This is a major issue!

Great team with fast response on any questions regarding the bundle builder. We use it for our build a box theme and so far we are delighted to have chosen bundle builder for this option.

Support has been really slow to reply, and it starting to take multiple emails to get a reply for the same issue. We're talking waiting multiple days now to hopefully get a reply, and when they do reply they don't actually provide a solution. I think the app can be useful if set up correctly, but the lack of support that you'll most likely need is going to be the main reason you don't keep the app. As of now i can only give them 2 stars and wouldn't recommend this app since I believe support should be a main focus for them and they clearly don't value it as much as they should.

We use this to create a Pick n Mix Bundle. It works really well and the team are very quick to respond if there are any issues. The only downside is that it uses the Shopify discount functionality so customers cannot use discount codes when buying the Pick n Mix.

These guys are awesome. Quick to respond, Fixes most of what I ask so my customers can have a easy time shopping. This bundle app displays beautiful on our site and looks very professional. The check process is clean and keeps things together on the cart page and the checkout page. We are now things how to add more bundles to our site. I understand they have a new design coming out and really can wait to see how it looks. Trust us, when I say you won't be disappointed. Update...Just asked them to tweak it a little and boom, it was done. Amazing

This is a really intuitive tool that helps you build many bundle possibilities to fulfill your clients needs. Recommended!

I was recommended the app by someone, installed it (admittedly, did not check pricing beforehand) and to my surprise it's 3x more expensive for Shopify Plus users while offering no additional features/benefits. On the principle of "if they can afford plus they can pay us more too". Immediately uninstalled. Correct me if I'm wrong and if there are actual additional features for Shopify Plus users which explain the 3x price increase.

The app was buggy in general, however I could live with that. The key issue was the the front end product (bundle) looked entirely different to a standard product UI. This obviously is off putting to the customer and isn't consistent with the rest of our site. There is a feature to add in a custom template to address this problem, however, this would require you own time or another developers time to create. So the app is, by its very nature, an incomplete product. In terms of stock keeping and tracking, it works as it should. The front end look and feel needs a lot more work.

From total trainwrecks to incomplete apps, I stumbled across this app recommended by a friend who sells gift boxes. Super happy with the results and Adam from the chat support. Intuitive, smart UX and enough customization to make it work for me! Update: We're now several months in - I stand by my assessment.

The absolute worst customer support we've ever experienced. No matter how good the functions of the app seem, it's not worth it. Since originally contacting Bundle Builder nearly three weeks ago re: a few app features and cart integration, we've received no less than three messages telling us integration is complete, only to discover it's as broken as it was day one. Responses to our concerns have been slow, generic, and astonishingly unhelpful. Promises to elevate our ticket or get back to us in a timely manner have proven meaningless. On our end, we've been ready to send bundles live for two weeks, but have been hamstrung by the developer's inability to deliver on simple elements, like prices showing correctly in cart. The waste of time and loss of revenue resulting from our experience with Bundle Builder has been staggering. The only reason we haven't uninstalled the app yet is because we're a small team, and to find a replacement and build the bundles will take time we can't afford. However, our patience is wearing thin. I expect our experience (and our review) will change if these issues are ever resolved, but as it stands, our position is simple: AVOID BUNDLE BUILDER.

App is glitchy. Customer service takes forever to respond. I'm trying to run a business and expect more responsiveness for what I'm paying.

This fantastic app bundle offers a wide range of exceptional possibilities that are visually appealing and highly functional. The developers provide excellent customer service, promptly addressing any issues and offering helpful solutions.

Great so far. Only two issues are: 1. The inability to add discounts to bundles 2. The inability to create subscriptions from bundles. Do you know when this will be possible? Thanks so much.
