It worked alright until they enacted a mandatory update and requested access and editing permissions to all of my customer data. This seems completely unrelated to the actual functionality of the app and was never required in previous versions to work. Update: I was contacted after giving this feedback to AppHero and the reason for the updated permissions is for a feature to allow customers to enter their emails in the banner. Shopify only allows bulk permissions to user data, rather than have it more modular and specific, which would make more sense. The developers said they don't read customer data, but it is hard to confirm that so it is based on trust.

So far I'm only using the free plan as I was after a simple announcement bar. Set up was a breeze and it was so easy to customise to get the look I wanted.

Easy to set up. Friendly UX. Hope it adds a sliding effect to the bar. I like this app and recommend it.

I have recently started using this bar and had a few issues getting it to display as I wanted due to clashes with my theme. The support team at App Hero were great and Rami got the bar displaying as I needed. Great stuff.

I use this app and it works super well. I had an issue with it not pushing down my menu header and disappearing when i scrolled upwards but i contacted the staff and they fixed it right away! I would definitely recommend this app I just really wish they had a duplicate bar feature because creating the same bar over and over for different pages is a bit annoying; however, its the best announcement bar out there and is super aesthetic too!

So far so good. It can do custom colors /background of the bar and the text. I tried other announcement bar app, this is the best.
