10 Gold Stars! We needed to add custom descriptions to showcase our multiple option products. This app is easy to use and does everything we needed for adding a variety of variant selections for buyers to choose our products. The customer service is beyond helpful, with quick responses and polite assistance. But... I must say, we had an overly complex set up with multiple templates, multiple tabs, many variants, and a need for many customized metafields. It was beyond complicated, yet the Owner/Developer was in constant contact, helping us streamline our needs into an efficient process and developing exactly what we needed to make our product selections easy and intuitive for our buyers. No matter the challenges we threw at this app, the developer always went above and beyond with a courteous and positive attitude that made all the difference in our experience. We have used the other apps that are often featured in the app store, but they failed to deliver on many levels. Searching for a perfect app felt overwhelming, until we came here. There is no negative side to trying this app. They deliver what they promise and then go way over your expectations to help you. Even if you have no experience in setting up or using the Shopify admin, they can help you create variants and bring you peace of mind. Do not waste your time with other apps. This is the one you have been looking for. I highly recommend using this app.

Such a useful app. We have ovr 184 variants with 22 products and this has been a blast to use. The bulk loads, the backend metefield control. Well thought out and I can't beleive how helpful the support team were for such an amazing price. Thanks Mircea and Team. Customer for life!

A fantastic app that really helps me offer different variations with different best-before dates. At first, I wasn't sure if the app would work the way I wanted. But Micera quickly helped me! Now it's just up to my backend to provide the data so the best-before date can be displayed. No more problems thanks to this great app, and thanks to Micera's help!

Wow what a great app! We had a specific requirement displaying a custom metafield with our variants and with some help Micera put a solution in place for us that works really well. was doing fine at first but we have to let it go. It began glitching and was mixing up descriptions I'm sorry to hear you’ve encountered issues. Because the app runs on your storefront, other scripts can sometimes interfere with its functionality. Fortunately, these problems are usually easy to resolve. This is a brilliant concept! Variant Description OMG solves a basic flaw in Shopify where products are build on a variant level but descreptions are not! This should be built into Shopify. Special shoutout to Mircea for taking the time to give me A+++ support!

This app is a must-have if you have many variant products and want to display different information dynamically. Super intuitive and the developer is super fast, responsive and has helped us a lot. A clear recommendation!

doesn't support metafields with metaobjects Hello, Unfortunately, this is technically impossible as accessing metaobjects in Liquid requires knowing the metaobject fields—which are not exposed by the current API. Fantastic, performant, intuitive app that does exactly what you expect it to. Customer support from Mircea has always been top-notch. I asked about multi-line text field metafield support, and before I knew it he pushed an update for it!

Very good customer support. Next day help was exactly what I needed with very good explanations of how it works when installed. Being able to add custom text where you want it for individual variants is a great option.

I needed to provide product specification details that changed for each variant. There is no built-in way to accomplish this in Shopify without some significant customization and multiple metafields. Variant Description OMG is an elegant and simple way to accomplish this. My theme required some customization to have the specs display in tabs and Mircea at Variant Description was quick to respond and make the necessary adjustments. Very pleased...

I just want to start off by saying I wish I could give this app 10 stars! The app performs flawlessly and does exactly what I needed it to do for my application. This is something Shopify should have implemented out of the box, but I am so grateful for this app. The customer service is even better! Mircea was so helpful with getting us setup and quick to respond to multiple emails. If you're wanting to have specific content show on specific selected variants without having to hire a developer to change code. Get this app! Highly recommend!
