This an update to my previous rating. This app is a time saver. It really saves me from having to draft email myself.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS APP RIGHT NOW. First email got 30% opens, then got restricted for trying to send a 2nd email with a few days? No ability to filter by opened / not opened so don't understand how else I could have done it. Now being told there are weekly sending limits. App looks nice hence the 2 stars but unusable right now. Will have to move back to Mailchimp. Wish I hadn't wasted a day setting it all up ‍♂️

Excellent App. Probably the best free app you can use for email marketing. So easy to customize and send. I would definitely recommend Shopify email. Thank you

This has a lot of potential, but isn't really ready for active use, especially if you have a large list. The features are very limited, but adding products to an email is incredibly fast and could improve your workflow. We've been testing it with around 10000 subscribers and it just takes too long to send emails (they go in batches but it can take hours for any to send at all) so scheduling is effectively meaningless. There's no automation, and I'm not sure whether anything is planned or if this is only intended to be a starter service for very small businesses.

Excellent for an early stage! Continue your good job Shopify! And make this app even better!!! BETTER THAN OTHER EMAIL MARKETING PLATFORMS! Teach them who is the boss!

We need one thing: HTML & CSS customization. Upvote if you agree. I used this app for 5 minutes and realized I ain't going nowhere with the normal features. And we need to keep this free, because we're paying lots of money to use Shopify in the first place.

I was really looking forward to Shopify E-mail and hoped it would change a lot, but to be honest it's not that spectaculair and very very basic. Also weird that it doesn't allow you to change the notification mails. It should be 'normal' to have a great free way to send all your customers emails when paying 79$ per month for using Shopify. Still a lot of work to do Shopify...

I have used this app an it is very nice and with a lot of tools. I recommend it to everyone whom want to grow its business. Thank you.

I used this app and found spelling errors and simple grammar edits were not highlighted! I cannot trust this mailing system if this does not get corrected.

This app works great for sending email campaigns and news newsletters. It's not for creating email automations. Would be much better if it has marketing campaign automation that will send email every time a new customer added to a customer group instead of sending it manually. Despite of it, unbeatable value for money. Highly recommend

The layout looks amazing ... BUT. The timing is impossible. When you send it at 6 pm, it means that some MAY get it at 6 pm, but others at 9 pm, some at 11 pm, and the rest of the customers may get it in the time when they are sleeping. That is completely useless as a marketing tool. I tried it three times, and the conversion is about 10% of the sales I used to get using Mailchimp. Sorry Shopify, this will not do, I go back to Mailchimp.

Designed by a team of people never seen or used mailing software before... Do not use it for any critical or timely campaigns. Because when you click send (as in star your email campaign) it doesn't mean they are sending right away, as in all of the other email tools. For example when you ask 3 hours later why even one email sent to your customers they say that's normal. It's normal for them but not the rest of us...

Please can you explain me how to include an option to unsuscribe in every mail I send? Its very important and I can´t find how to do it. Please.

First I thought: GREAT! and it already is, but I thought there will be more included, than just the newsletter tool... Forms, Automation e-mails etc. But no. That would be so great, to handle it all in shopify directly without any third party.

Great idea. But I'd appreciate if we could have automations and trigger features available. Moving away from third-party providers like MailChimp and having everything run through Shopify would be best.

Would appreciate if I can filter all emails of people that have NOT ordered for all time period. Otherwise it is good app to have.

I like the idea. It also looks very simple to use, but... not usefull for us un EU. There is no GDPR comlience - GDPR fields on your signup forms and collecting consent. I also didn't see any option to upload / import contacts from other email marketing apps.

from the one hand? easy to use from the other hand? 1. no automation 2. no option to import lists from different services 3. not feet for other languages than english (no option to translate some of the texts) 4. can't edit the footer text 5. no social media icons only links by text... 6. low amount of fonts

Its easy and simple. However seems limited as I am not able to create automations and triggers. Also no option to translate into non-english language.

The App has a major problem for me. None of the previews will display. When I open the app to start a campaign, all the templates show, "no image available". Otherwise, the app appears to be very basic. This is just launching, so its to be expected. Amy, can you take a minute to follow up by sending me an email to open up the lines of communication to see what can be done?

I thought it was going to replace platforms like Klaviyo and Omnisend, but I can only send out an email campaign. No automation, no triggers, just campaigns. Like what Mailchimp was back in 2002...
