Shogun is a great app for building landing pages and product pages. And if I have any questions, I wrote to their customer support, they always can help. that is why I love it!

We've only just begun using this app but the available formatting and functions is impressive and not like anything else we've used before (especially while on the Magento platform). We are looking forward to exploring all capabilities in the new year.

Compared to most SHopify themes that have limited personalization options, Shogun is great. Quite pricey but worth it in most cases. I am only facing 1 issue: i am currently customizing a paid Shopify theme, and everything works perfectly besides previewing product pages/product descriptions edited in Shogun. I was told that they will appear once i pay the theme, but i will wait until i am certain about the theme before spending 180 USD. Customer service is quite good, quick and responsive. A pity we cannot use the app to customize homepages also! :)

You can achieve the look you want if you have alot of time to kill. There is alot tweaking to do to get something look right. Honestly most the time it drives me nuts how much I have to mess around with something so it looks the exact same on both desktop and mobile. The mobile preview is not accurate and I need to expand to full screen to make sure desktop view isnt cutting anything out of view. I'd think everything is okay until I view it fullscreen and then I have to tweak and tweak again and alot of the time I end up changing the image I wanted to use. In the editor a product image may look nice and large but in the actual live view on my phone when published it would be so small. I'd have to go back in and blow the image up till it looks right on mobile but then the image would be too huge on desktop. Its alot of tweaking. I have also had issues with product images / listings not showing LIVE but shows inside the editor. The team tells you to delete your cookies etc. I have always questioned if I have to delete my cookies to view the website as it should look, what about other people visiting my website who have cookie overload too? Will they not be able to view stuff? I never recived an answer. Been using shogun since Feb 2019 , sometimes I really love it and other times I hate how much it works me hard. It's ok. When I started it was $19, now I'm seeing that it is $39. I'm wondering why so high? It's not worth $39 (analytics or not). The page templates it comes with arent the best designs and they don't work very well. They look very squeezed on mobile. I have a hard time picking one that can work. The example store used here (leesa.com) looks nothing like their templates or anything that can be achieved using the drag and drop builder. I assume coding was involved.

Most intuitive of the page builder apps I've tried on Shopify. Priced higher than others but I find this one has the easiest learning curve. I would rather pay for this and save time, then spend time making money to cover the costs rather than bang my head on fancy themes or other page builder tools that are too complex or not stable. Shogun does allow for custom code to be inserted, but I would love to have features like inserting a lookbook or those recent trends of animated banners. Dealing with external web developers would be another major project that I'm just not keen on. Anyway, well done Shogun!

Love it. The most impressive part is how quickly and thoroughly the team respond to any queries or issues. Would 100% recommend.

After spending a lot of money and time on outsourcing our page programming the Shogun page builder really streamlines things for us and so far we have created various amazing pages for our shop without the slightest coding knowledge. My colleagues have to hold me back with all the 'fantastic' ideas for pages I now want them to build ;-)

Intuitive and easy to use interface allows me to quickly put together landing pages for my clients website. Saves me so much time and effort and has all the tools needed to make any page I want to create!

Shogun is very easy to use, it is a very good landing page builder in Shopify. I would recommend it.

We moved to Shogun after spending a lot of time on other builders which didn't deliver everything we needed. The UI is very slick, it works great and we are super happy so far. Keep improving guys!

Shogun has the page builder that I've always wished Squarespace, Wix and all the other website builders had. I can't express how easy it is to develop my page the way that I want it to look and function. I recommend this app for anyone that cares about their brand and it's image and doesn't want to pay $1,000's for all that coding stuff.

The app is very buggy. The support staff answers quickly but its always a work around and not a clear solution. Fine if you have to use it (i.e. cannot code) but be prepared to redo everything a few times to get it right.

Shogun is a good tool for someone who has less standardied needs, but is not fully a developer. You dont need to be a developer or have a technical background to use shogun, but there is a learning curve. Once you get over it, it's ok to use and gives your shopify site more versatility. Helpdesk is a mixed bag though- some times they seem to be very good at service at other times they seem rather nonchalant. So, apparently my Shogun does not work because Shogun is not compatible with Shopify free themes. Do consider twice beforeyou use Shogun on a free theme. We were supposed to launch a few days ago and basically had eveyrthing in place, only to realize that Shogun is not compatible. Their development team will tell you that they can't give you an ETA and then when you message them, they will be "away". this is for paying customers. I am on the $99 plan. thanks It is with great frustration and disappointment that I write this review. I used Shogun because the marketing videos seemed good, but when it comes to actually using it, shogun is 1. not user friendly, 2. functionalities are rigid . I signed up for the $99 plan, which includes live chat support. the live chat support replies fast BUT advice is inconsistent depending on the support staff helping you. I literally have different people telling me OPPOSITE things to do. and then, they also like to just show you standard links from their help page (Which i have already read and tried, and it doesnt work. that's why im asking for help on live support). they dont seem to want to help you look into the problem. generally feel quite annoyed and frustrated. The best example in point is when I tried to build internal anchor links. I literally WASTED 3 HOURS because they all tell me different things and shogun is just REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD. it's quite badly made if you ask me to be honest. their value proposition that it is so easy drag and drop, is really not, UNLESS, you just want a very simple landing page with maybe one button, shogun would work great. but if that's the case, why not just use a free shopify template? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the shogun code is just particularly bad if you are trying to do anything other than a normal one button landing page with no anchors. which you should just use a normal free template on shopify or if you want to pay out of the sandbox. shogun;s value prop that you can have more bespoke functions is moot since their code is not even properly set up and filled with errors.

Excellent app with great support! Highly recommended for any team that does not have a developer in house or is just looking into cracking out content faster.

Excellent app! Makes it very easy to visually adjust your pages on your website. I rarely need support because it's a great product. The one time that I needed support, Charles replied very fast and quickly resolved the issue for me within my theme. Very pleased with both product & service!

Our business would not be where it is today without Shogun page builder. This app has allowed us to communicate our mission and values how we see them as opposed to going back and forth with an outside contractor.
