The team at Shogun is nothing short of amazing. I can't believe how easy it is to stylize and customize elements. I have used other programs to play with how I like my pages, blogs, and products to look and none of the interfaces are as intuitive as this program. When I didn't understand how to execute a complex task, I e-mailed the support team to ask them about my ideas. Not only did they brainstorm with me to help, but they created examples, sent me combinations of video tutorials, and provided detailed explanations of my next steps. Best of all, they didn't laugh at my lack of coding knowledge and were very patient with me during questions I had that were difficult to explain over an e-mail. I am so happy to be using this app for years to come and I highly recommend it to any shop owner whose favorite thing to do is stylize their shop elements!

If you're looking for an easy way to build pages, we highly recommend Shogun. It has allowed us to quickly build out pages within minutes. (1) If you have a non-technical team, this is helpful because on a simple level - they can quickly edit and build pages. (2) If you need custom work done, it's not too hard because you can request it thru the guys or you can hire a free lancer to help build the elements for repeated use. (3) Not buggy - this tool is pretty solid. You won't run into things that won't work. (4) Support - their support portal is easy to use and all of the tutorials include a how-to video.

After trying many page builder apps and being disappointed with bugs and design limitations, I'm so glad I found Shogun. It's easy to use and creates beautiful pages and I love the ability to customise elements for certain devices. The service from support is instant, the best I've experienced from any app. I would recommend Shogun to anyone and everyone.

-Update- I love it! It is making it easier for me to revamp our website. Shopify's page editor is so limited. The templates are so useful. Very easy to use.

I don't normally write reviews but this is an exception. Shogun is making it incredibly intuitive -- actually enjoyable! -- to build our site. The drag and drop elements work smoothly and they actually do what you want them to do. I have experience working with many "page builder" tools and none of them have functioned as perfectly as Shogun. I wish I had Shogun years ago, would have saved me a ton of time. The developers really did things right with this app. Glad I found it.

Great app. I am a pretty decent coder but this just makes it FAST to get pages built and edit product pages. I am using Shopify to build a membership side and Shogun allows me and my team to build pages without having to worry about teaching code. There is more that can be added, but for the time savings and when it really comes down to it... what people expect... you can't beat it. A great app and support is awesome too.

This app is AMAZING! I have paid for previous support from Shopify consultants & designers who were not able to provide a fraction of the design flexibility and options Shogun offers right out of the box! Very user friendly and offers huge enhancements to the basic Shopify page and product templates. Nick and Finbarr have been incredibly helpful in providing support to get me up and running and even tweaked one of their templates to meet my specific needs. Could not be happier with my Shogun experience.

Really great app! Very user friendly especially for someone like me who has zero experience with html coding etc. Support is AMAZING! They replied me in 3 minutes can you believe it? This app is wonderful. The ability to be able to easily add columns, rows, slideshows, lists, etc -- are all things that Shopify has really been missing. It allows people to more easily build upon their existing theme and content without having to know code. Plus, the guys from Shogun are nothing short of awesome. When you buy an app on Shopify, sometimes you wonder what kind of support you'll actually end up getting. Well, you don't have to wonder with these guys... Support is top notch. Even their follow-up on features and requests is nothing we've ever seen before. They were pro-active and reached back out when certain features we asked about went live. We utilize many apps on headphones.com. We have never felt the need to write a review until now. Best page builder we have utilized, hands down. The Shogun app is very versatile unlike other drag and drop page builders out there. It is a little more complicated to use but it is worth the learning curve as it can create some truly beautiful pages. For some reason, most shopify apps do not have the option to have different pages for desktop to mobile, which in this day and age should be a must. But Shogun has the option to build different pages based on the browsing device. Couple that with the customization that they offer and Shogun easily stands above the rest as the best. We had some initial problems upon install with getting Shogun to work properly but their support staff went above and beyond to make it work for us. Super excited to continue to build pages with Shogun!

I'm a web developer and I've used Shogun for my 2nd store. Clients' needs are changing...they're savvy, want customized pages, want more control over edits and rely less on web developers for simple changes. The reason why Shogun is THE ONLY critical app for my shopify stores is because it acts as a CMS for my clients to directly edit posts themselves and gives me freedom from tedious requests for cosmetic changes (which I typically don't bill for as a courtesy). Lots more I'd like to say here but I recommend trying it out yourself. The support is refreshingly on point! You get a real human to help you trouble shoot, which is infrequent because functionality is so intuitive and documentation is great.

Shogun is intuitive to use and does exactly what it says. Nick was quick to help me with my questions about integrating with Mailchimp form. Very impressed with the app so far!

Functional, modern, and great support?! Couldn't ask for more! The app is easy to install and easy to use. It's robust enough for professionals to adjust the elements with CSS or do some custom integrations and it's simple enough for novices to build their pages out with a lot more control than what Shopify gives you. For the base price of $9/month, it's totally worth it. Even if you don't expect to be making tons of money on your site, you are going to want your pages to be responsive and attractive and $9/month is a small price to pay for that functionality. Haven't upgraded yet but I probably will to get the most out of the builder. I've had a couple of issues with Shogun and my theme (Turbo /Out of the Box) but the support staff has been tremendous with response and help!

Can't say enough how impressed I am with the Shogun app! The functionality and usability has met all of my expectations of what a e-commerce drag and drop page builder should look like. I've played around with my fair share of drag and drop page builders and anybody who has done the same will tell you how difficult it is to find a good one that does what you want. Shogun gets the job done with it's quick and easy to understand platform and I can only imagine how much better it's going to get over time. There are plenty of great help tutorials to reference and customer service is extremely impressive! Nick and his team are extremely responsive and always more than willing to help along the way. I'd recommend Shogun 100% to anybody looking to up their page building game. =]

If there was a way to split the rating between two stars, I'd be inclined to give the Shogun app a 4.5 rating, for reasons I'll explain in a moment. However, since being forced to choose between 4 or 5 stars, I really must give the nod to the high side at 5 stars. The reason for leaning toward 5 is because of the responsive support I received when I encountered a problem. To be fair, I have only been using it for not quite a week, but in that time I had high expectations and managed to break a few things... Okay, maybe I broke more than a few things, but some of them were sort of my fault, and some were because I was using the app in a way that probably no one had stress-tested it before. Point being, each time I had an issue, I emailed them with a description of the problem and they jumped on it right away. Not all of my issues are quite fixed yet, but I can avoid further problems by being attentive to the limitations and adjusting how I use the app. Other issues I noticed are simply where there are items that could be improved on, and I'm sure, will be in time. Each time I made a suggestion of something I noticed could be improved, the thoughts were well received and appreciated by the support team. I have used several different drag-n-drop type tools over the years, and I have to say of those I have tried, Shogun is probably the most consistent with what you see in the development panel is what you get on a live monitor... Not everything is exact, but it is darned close. I really do have to tip my hat to these guys because after quite a bit of back and forth discussions, my impression is that they go over backwards to make this as reliable and bug free as possible. Although I prefer to review something like this based on its own standalone merits, it is really difficult for me to not compare it directly to another page building app for Shopify that is sold by a big-named person for substantially higher price, and it is no where near as close to the functionality or bug-free execution that Shogun is. Not even close. Perhaps it is because of my recent experience with the other service that I am so much more forgiving with the minor issues with Shogun... but I really don't think so. Perhaps my generosity of opinion is because as a former R&D engineer, I understand the challenges of "productizing" a software application... it's that final push to finish the last 10% of the development cycle, which *always* takes A-N-O-T-H-E-R 90% of the effort... but I really don't think so. Or, maybe it's simply that I appreciate knowing someone who gives a damn about a quality product is on the other end of the support line and trying their best to make it right... yeah, I really do think so. I'll continue to use this app for a while and see how my opinion matures. So far, I am pleased.

The mark of an excellent app is their support and customer service. Back in January I installed this app for some page edits where I had to combine another apps liquid code with my themes contact page. I came across a few issues and Nick from Shogun responded right away to help me out. He actually jumped in and helped me setup a new template. Fast forward to today when I saw a post on Shopify about using the Shogun app to customize blog posts. I had a couple of questions and, again, Nick responded within minutes to help me out. Many apps I've tried will have good support at first, but 6 months down the road...good luck with that. Great app with tons of features and and developer's who go out of their way with support to help me succeed.

This is the page creator that should come with shopify! We love it. Clean and extremely easy to use for non-technical staff. I highly recommend this app for your store.

Hands down one of the best apps I have ever used. Not only that, but the customer support is astonishing. Nick and his team truly know their stuff and do whatever they can to help you be able to utilize everything available in the app. Despite having experience with HTML and CSS, this app has significantly aided me in quick, easy to understand ways to customize my website as I wanted it to look. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for help customizing!

This is what I thought working on Squarespace would be like. Once you get past the initial confusion of where everything is the program is very intuitive. Customer service was more than good. I sent an customer service email at 1AM and got a response...not expected. Great program. Well worth the price of entry. Highly recommend.
