This app does function quite well, but other challenges haven't been so pleasant. I have needed to ask how to avoid a Ship Protect message ('there are other items from your order not included in this shipment') appearing on the first page of the packing slip. I have also needed to ask how to avoid Ship Protect appearing on a new additional page of the packing slip. The first point of contact always has to ask a dev for these questions (but surely these are known and common problems). The dev then passes on a message, unedited, using language the layman doesn't understand; and with what looks like three long blocks of code change options with no explanation for which one to use. Surely they checked my website when I asked how to fix the issue. And each time I ask can't one of the devs just change the code and fix it in 5 mins instead of exchanging these messages for weeks, that question is not answered. So, the second problem is still not fixed. Sorry to hear the frustration here - as per conversations we are doing our best to work within the limitations of Shopify for digital products. Most stores ask their 3pl to work with those limitations. Glad we got to a solution in the end that wasn't ideal but still got as close as we could.

If you're on the fence about this app, GET IT! Our customers love it because they know their packages are protected and we love it as a simple up-sell. We've got it working in with the monster apps cart and it's seamless. Customer service is amazing, with all our queries dealt with very quickly. A definite 5-stars from me!

Shipping Protect has been a really easy app to use. It has allowed our customers piece of mind that there parcel will arrive safe and sound and has been an easy way for us to collect fee to pass onto our delivery service without it being an out of pocket expense. The customer service is fantastic. Highly recommend this app.

App is a nightmare. Can't put in decimal points in the flat rate, so $1.25 shows up at $125. App did not work upon activation. Also once installed, my flat rate shipping turned into weight based. Waste of time. Happy to help here - The $1.25 no worries :) just shoot a message to the team. Weight based Shipping - sorry we don't touch these settings. Potentially its a setting in shopify that's been ticked. This has never happened for any other merchant. Ty here one of the founders - I shot you an email too. :) Reach out if you would like to get these sorted.

I had some issues with the app after upgrading our theme to the latest version, and couldn't get this working for some time. Support was able to resolve the issues I was having and everything appears to be working now. For the time the app has been working we've seen a great ROI and have been very pleased with it.

Bad support bad app. The support is very slow and the app didn't work. they said to wait 24/7 after I paid Hey heyyy team.. Sometimes it takes a little time for devs to go through and update themes- especially through holiday period. We have to make sure they are working perfectly before pushing live. Happy to refund any $$ incurred in that time of course! Let us know we can do anything else to help! Hope you have a lovely start to 2025!

Ship Protect is great! Super easy to setup and use. Had a warehousing issue, I emailed support and within 5minutes Ty one of the founders was able to support to get those orders filtering back through to the warehouse! All in all can't fault them!

Does not work upon installation. When I spoke with the help desk they said they would need to reach out to their dev team who was so backed up with requests, that it may take 2 days to get the app operating properly. Lots of red flags here. Update: August 18. I've had developers try and figure out why the app does not work with Prestige and they can't seem to figure it out. I receive an email that they worked on it all night long and now it's working, only for it to break again. The customer support here is great, however, the developers seem to lack skill. Overall, if you have Prestige, don't install the app.
