I installed the app but had some questions about automatic product tag updates so I asked for help. Chris from Power Tools really helped me a lot and gave me the support I needed. Great app but especially even greater support and service! Keep up the good work!

A very clean and well designed filter menue app with a very diligent support team. Basically I was looking for a filter menue app that does not affect other apps on my collection pages, like swatch or variant apps (other filter apps I've tried before were causing issues). This app is working like a charm. It takes some time to understand the logic behind, especially if you already got a lot of tags and collections to integrate. But the support team took it's time to answer all my questions. On the other hand if you just start your shop, this app will safe you a lot of time to build collections, tags and variants.

This is a must have App, to help your site visitors find the right product for them, in our case Perfumes. The support team is helpful, we had a small issue with a Collection Link, this was sorted out by Filter Menu Team within 2 days. The only thing is maybe the monthly plan is maybe a little bit expansive. thank you

This was my first product filter app and it worked. I am lazy but I did manage to make it work, using just collection which the app does for you. Never went back to my collections though, I'd be lost. I am moving on from this app now mainly because I need a cheaper solution and other apps provide that with smart search bar as well. This app is great and easily customisable if you have the time to invest time into it. Something my store isn't ready for.

Second time using this fantastic app and a bit more knowledge about it. 5/5 again. See my other review below for Koast Clothing for more info. If you plan to build complex filtering structures then I would advise contacting the excellent support team. Tanya is often on hand to help and Chris and the dev team will troubleshoot more complex solutions or issues. There may be times when you need their help for rendering issues because there are so many different themes out there. Shopify does not offer an OR logic option, only AND - it is a limitation of the platform. Power Tools "Replacer" really helps with this limitation. I ran into a serious issue when creating a filter which was no fault of Power Tools and they worked with me to get out of jail. Keep in mind that Filter Menu radically increases your tag count in certain cases (colours and sizes for example) so factor this in with Shopify's suggested 1000 site wide limit and 250 tags per product limit. Thoroughly recommended and thanks to the team again!

What an app, what a team behind it! I can't sing the praises loud enough of the Power Tools team and of course Filter Menu. It's two key things: 1. Great value. 2. Really powerful and flexible bringing a new dimension to your Shopify site and more importantly the experience of your customers. Now, for a few footnotes... It isn't that easy to use but this is mainly to do with the sheer power of the app. It will take you some time to acclimatise to the mechanics of the app and its eccentricities (there are many). That said, the Power Tools team are on hand to help and they really do. Keep in mind that they are in different time zones - one support team in Europe and another in Australia (which is useful). It can take a little while for difficult issues to be sorted but they do get sorted. The aliasing feature is truly amazing and with some patience you can create elegant filters to convert browsing customers into buying customers. I've found that I had to watch the excellent tutorial videos a few times to understand what to do and then occasionally check with support on more detailed things. They will help you. I'd add here that I've been designing, building and developing websites for 20 years and I did need to carefully understand the app before launching into config - and I made some mistakes. Important note. If you update your theme then Filter Menu also needs to be "updated" too to ensure it works. The Power Tools team offered to do this for me and I was about 90% successful on my first attempt but one or two small issues did occur. Power Tools helped me with this. There is a need for better docs on the update process and I hope Chris and the gang are reading this and will action it. It will generate so much more confidence in the app. So, I would thoroughly recommend that app without exception. Thanks Power Tools.

There was an obscure issue with filtering on returning to the Collections page from the Product page as a result of the theme I was using. Bish, bash, bosh: identified and sorted in (almost) no time. Super service. Thanks!

I literally cannot select lower than 5* and here's why. Now, you may say this is a fake review, and i won't mind that, but the amount of help and actual work their team member Chris has done is amazing. We're running on a custom theme and we've had minor issues with the filters themselves. So the amazing Chris went ahead and fixed them. Unfortunately, our theme didn't like these changes, so we needed to make more adjustments which in the end lead to even better theme logic than it was before and it was all done by Chris within hours (literally, when he's online, he's a freaking lightning). He implemented changes that are way beyond filters but it made everything work together in an amazing sync. I'd definately recommend this app just for the amazing support team and their will of making it work for you!

I need to say that this is the best App-support experience I had so far! Very helpful! Just 3 days after installing the app, it is EXACTLY how I wanted it, with all the code changes that the support was necessary for. I use the color filter, and love the way it looks and works. I would give 6 stars if this would be possible :)

I needed to filter by color but I wanted the app to pull just the specific variant colors and this is the only app that I found that can do it this good. You just name your colors and it picks it up as a tag. The best part is they are always helping, at the beginning it might look complicated but they helped me with anything I needed and even did the install for me into my theme and tons of adjustments after. Now the app is doing exactly what I need and I am still on my trial. Without paying anything they have helped me so much. This app will be well worth the $15 a month now that customers will filter by color. I strongly recommend this app, they are so helpful!

We have been using this app for a while now and love it! It simplifies everything in our categories (which are quite large) and makes finding something a hell of a lot easier! They set it up for us, shuffled it around so that we were happy with the look and feel of the filtering, and then when I've had questions, there is always someone to help on the live chat. Highly recommend if you have large categories and need to filter them in an easy no fuss way :)

We needed to feature a search by size function for our website and Filter Menu does the job. The installation and customization process isn't instantaneous depending on the shop's theme, but Chris and his team is more than ready to help to get the job done.

We've used this tool to help introduce faceted navigation for our customers after looking for some time we felt that this was the right tool for us. One of the things we look for when using the app is the response and quality of the customer service from app developers. The guys at Power Tools have been amazing. This app is one of the easiest apps I have ever had to install. We had an issue with the filter menu not appearing on our sidebar, but this was sorted really quickly. Everyone I spoke to was it really pleasant. Overall an amazing experience.
