Easy to use but After I made changes to my shopify store, old collections and products are still there . Can't make changes to Pinterest shop , tried disconnecting and connecting again but no use.

Simply no help at all. Even with shopify emailing them - no response. The shopify catalog is declined while facebook accepts it without an issue. No replies - there just is no excuse for this.

It lists every variation as a new pin. So if you have a clothing item with 10 colors and 5 sizes... yep, it just listed 50 identical pins. It did this for about 1000 listings on my shop. This also isn't really a "sales channel". Pinterest is just duplicating your catalog and linking to your site.

I received most consistent traffic to my shop. Also, the initial promotional gift was nice. I didn't know how much influence Pinterest has on shoppers. UPDATE: Merchant Support has been extremely disappointing. I loved the Pinterest sales channel until now... Instead of communicating to fix something minor on your site before a deadline, they remove your merchant status 1st! This makes you look fraudulent to your Pin followers and anywhere your Pin profile has been shared. It literally took 2 mins to change what they wanted but it took 3 support agents and 2 days for someone to state exactly what was needed instead of being told to "read the guidelines." Received an email that the merchant status was restored but, our catalog feed doesn't load to Pinterest even though it hasn't been altered on our side in 2 yrs. The shopify app states the feed is active and connected to pinterest but the pinterest biz page says error-no ingestion for over a week now with no steps provided to resolve. The support agent repeated "read the guidelines," there's an issue with the feed and to make (unstated) changes. They gave no exact details of what to fix. Then we received another email: "Please complete any outstanding steps, if any, so you can submit your application to the Verified Merchant Program" but the link only goes to to the pinterest home page! They make you play a mystery game of "what will fix the mystery issue?" I guess I'm expecting support to want to help resolve but it comes off as dismissive.

Told my store cannot sell on pinterest due to - then they send a "read our guidelines" link. My store meets the guidelines- has clear return policy, shipping timeline, price detailed, and about me page. Still given the same regurgitated respone upon appeal. Useless app. Only use Pinterest to find inspirational quotes. Nothing else helpful.

Does not tell you that you need to have your domain for 9 months prior to installing. This app is pointless until then.

****** BEWARE | CAUTION | BEWARE | CAUTION ********* || This app syncing is only approved with Pinterest should your Shopify store meet specific Pinterest acceptance criterias. The main one is your Shopify site has to be 9mths+ in operation. (As I learnt today - 14Feb2023). Without this minimum store age requirement, you will see the automated 'ISSUES' notification and 2 chances of 'appeal' to rectify the 'issues'. ****** BEWARE | CAUTION | BEWARE | CAUTION ********* Only install if your Shopify store is over 9mths in operation at least you'll know that if you take heed of this warning/caution, your Shopify store has one less automated rejection issue to deal with. There's no point with me submitting the last final 2of2 appeal because store less than 30days 'old' and so will be uninstalling. It was less than a day installed from this page and automatically disabled by Pinterest the same day! Note: Currently, (14Feb2023) the minimum store age requirement is NOT MENTIONED here in the app description or blurb and I may have missed it on Pinterest website. Did you too?
