We use this app as a bot blocker. We use the checkbox to VERIFY YOU ARE HUMAN. This stops bots from coming in and wrecking our checkout. 100% blocked the bots. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Works smoothly (also with strict Danish regulations), and got great help from the developer team with adjusting minor things for it to look great on my site.

This is exactly what you need to be either compliant or choose to be safe to help keep minors out of your store.

Works as expected - a kind of "fire and forget" app, which is sometimes a shame as it does exactly what we needed and gets no more attention.

Great app, easy to configure, works like a charm with lots of options for customising it.

Installed this check out age control App as we have age control restrictions in Denmark and placing the official Logo on the check out page was not enough. Installation was easy and worked immediately in Browsers but not on Mobile checkouts... I contacted Chris and he guided me on where there actually was an error on the Theme I use, and with his guidance the problem was solved in a few minutes - what an amazing service... Thank you

Update: We are using this app since 2022, but reinstalled it (thats why it may show here fewer days in use. We switched now to the Pro Version, which offers Checkout Checkbox for Verification, and this one will also be written as a proof into the order details, which is even more helpful. Review Text from 2022: The app does well in our shop. You can also use it with language versions in "Langify" if you set global custom translations in langify. We also had a conflict with our "GDPR Cookie Banner" app. The solution was to add the "__age_checker-history" cookie as essential in the Cookie app. (some users would have to delete their browser cache to make it work asap) Both times Chris as developer of this app was very helpful and answered quickly.

I was looking for an app where I could force the user to check a box that they agree to our Terms and Privacy POlicies, with also the ability to read them , via a hyperlink. Shopify staff couldn't find me exactly what I wanted but I found this app. I was able to use it in the way I wanted to with some assistance from Chris. Initially was working great, but after some time caused our site to not load unless scrolled. Very strange but was fixed as soon as the pop was turned off :( Edit: The owner, Chris, reached out after seeing the issues we were having and helped us solve the issue. Really happy now and would highly recommend the app.

This application is very simple to set up, can be easily customized without code and is very efficient. Following a theme updating, there was a small bug... An email to Chris and everything works again in less than 10 minutes !
