Such a great app! Filled a big gap for us and enabled us to automate a lot of tasks and business logic without the hassle of managing our own private apps.

I am more than impressed with each automation in Mechanic. If there is an automation that is a little beyond your ability, the community and support are there to help you along the way.

This app is gold. you can just leave your Shopify working on its own without doing anything with their task. This is highly recommended to every Shopify user. Also, Matt is always there for me for every issue I have he always helps me with good and kind support. Thanks for making this app it helps me a lot and thank you for your service, Matt.

Love that this one app helps add functionality to our store that we'd otherwise have to pay for multiple apps to accomplish. An extensive task library helps to get things started and is a very useful guide and reference. Customer service is helpful and quick to respond. What else could I ask for?

This has really opened up a world of possibilities for me as a dev. Any store with an in-house developer or any Plus store that leverages flows should 100% have Mechanic on hand. They have great documentation, amazing support and a phenomenal community too. I've been working on Shopify stores for 5+ years and I've never had a better app support experience.

Amazing app that's got a great library. As a small store owner it's helped with some small but important tasks. I'd imagine if I knew more about coding the possibilities would be endless.

Very useful and flexible app with a fair and generous pricing policy. It's saved us from doing manual work or installing redundant apps on multiple occasions.

Useful! Great app tu automate and to integrate with Shopify Flow. Fills-in the needs we have. We neeed to send an email to our customers based on different reasonings and this is possible, thanks to Mechanic. Also we like the ability to tag orders/customers automatically which helps us create flows in Klaviyo. I think we are using 10% of this tool, but we are looking forward to use it more every day. A big thank you also to the team that is always available =)

All to often, Shopify App Developers fall short on customer service, especially post-sale. Matt at Mechanic was absolutely amazing during my set up and helped me understand the development process. Still 5 Star - Still exceptional! We have been using Mechanic to automatically create elaborate Packing Slip and Order Prep Sheet pdf's every time an order comes in - that are emailed to our shop and auto printed. We also use many of the pre-written tasks on a one off basis to perform miscellaneous tasks - with the ability to customize to our specific needs. Not only is Mechanic an extremely powerful, sophisticated & effective automation tool - the company management continues to do everything right (in a world were so many don't)! Strong documentation, outstanding support - and helpful info can be found throughout their site. Top Notch - 100% Thank-you!

This app is super helpful, filling all the holes left open by shopify. Basic things that you think you should be able to do easily, but can't on shopify, Mechanic has a task for that.

Solid app that does what it's supposed to. And the team has been very responsive anytime something needs tweaking and I don't know how. Good stuff!

I don't think you could find 2 people that have a bad a word to say about Mechanic. We are in the process of launching another store and Mechanic was one of the first apps we installed. I think it's a must have for any Shopify store at any level. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. A fantastic app, and top-notch support! We use this to automate a few different tasks, including removing tags after x days, and sorting collections for oos product. We also had a request to copy tags to metafields, the team helped us with this, which saved us days of work!

I have used mechanic to build integrations to ERP, CRM, process to handle Custom forms and task automation etc. If you are developer and you are planning to extend or build custom automation, Mechanic is the App for you. It has great selection of pre-built task libraries to get you started, robust documentation and dedicated slack channels to collaborate with fellow developers. WHAT a brilliant company and app! "did you know Mechanic can do this out of the box without any custom API coding? Click here…” I am using Mechanic to do tasks that I previously used Integromat to accomplish, but using Mechanic is faster, cheaper and arguably better since it is tightly integrated with Shopify. Tasks such as: 1. Capture order payment upon fulfillment Upon the fulfillment of an authorized or partially paid order, this task attempts to capture all open authorized payments for that order. (Multiple authorizations can exist on edited orders or with post-purchase upsells.) 2. Auto-tag orders with UTM parameters This task automatically tags incoming orders with the UTM campaign, content, medium, source, and/or term associated with the customer’s visit. 3. Auto-tag customers when their order is tagged This task watches for order tags, and adds a corresponding tag to the customer whenever a known order tag is found 4. Send an event to Klaviyo when a fulfillment is out_for_delivery yup -- this will replace other apps that do ONLY delivery notifications. so 5, 6, 7 tasks are all fulfillment related. ALL ENABLED WITH ESSENTIALLY ZERO CODE Support was fast to reply when I had a basic onboarding question. The Slack community is also a huge positive. Did I say the documentation is spectacular? Mechanic can be a geeky as you want it to be, but it can also dumb down for non-coders. I'll update this review in a month, then again in a year. But after 7-days, OMG this is a wonderfully powerful addition to any store. 5-stars

Probably the most powerful app on Shopify. Mechanic is a tremendously amazing workflow automation app that we can't live without. It allows for all sorts of tasks (e.g. Tag an order if a discount code is used, send out a discount code if an order contains X, change a fulfillment location based on customer address). There are templated tasks that are also infinitely customizable for your needs. On top of that, there's an incredible Slack community to support it, with super fast response times and contractors who can help develop tasks for your shop at very good prices (+1 Brad as well). Thanks Mechanic for being so amazing.

Absolutely loving your service so far — an excellent all-in-one platform that extends standard Shopify functionality. It comes with 100+ templates which help complete various tasks: from automatically emailing customers with invite to create an account, to auto-tagging orders and customers. And you can freely modify/customise these or write your own tasks using Liquid code. There's a good documentation and code versioning available too — what not to like. Big thanks Isaac and team!
