Reviews for langify ‑ translate your store

I'm sure the app works fine for most, but once we published our translations our cart was broken and no one was able to complete a purchase. We had to roll our theme back to remove all the code and get our store functioning again.

The best translation app you can find. It's very powerful and you can translate nearly every single word on your store. Johannes did an awesome job developing this and was very helpful when I had questions. I highly recommend it.

its pretty easy, but i did have some issue ( own fault ), but customer service is top, very patient and super efficient. i want to thank johannes for the super quick support

Langify does the job perfectly for us. It takes a bit of time to set it up initially, but the outcome is very reliable. The platform also provides a lot of options for customization. Above all, we are really happy with the responsive service provided by the support . Johannes has been very prompt and patient to help us with set up.

At first not totally intuitive to find where some texts have to be translated, but once you get it, it works like a charm.

Takes a while to get set up properly, but definitely the most viable solution for multi-lingual sites via. Shopify.

Very useful app for multilingual sites, and it supports RTL (Arabic and Hebrew). They also have great support. I contacted them several times, after hours and during weekends, and Johannes was always there for support. He also worked on blending the language switcher within my theme which I don't think is included in the cost, but he did it and that was during the weekend! Thanks Johannes, you're the best!

The only translation app you'll ever need! Not only is the app itself fantastic but the support from Johannes is truly exceptional. It's quite expensive if you're just starting out but considering the value it provides - its money well spent!

** UPDATE ** I have been using Langify for over two years, still have issues with my theme but never with Langify. I hope that Johannes and his Team develop many more. The information is very clear and if you need support, they're a quick message away. I'm not sure if they literally work around the clock; everything is done so quickly. They are professional and polite. Thank you Langify, I wish all apps were this great! AMAZING Support! The app was easy to use but there were some coding issues because of my theme. I sent Johannes an email and a few hours later, everything was fixed! He even included pictures in his reply to show me what was done. HIGHLY recommend!

I am very disappointed in the Langify app and I spent a lot of time trying to set it up to have it ultimately fail. This app DOES NOT translate language on your website. This app appears to simply be an exporter/importer of language, and you have to create your own translations. I don't understand why langify is so highly recommended or has such high reviews nor do I understand langify's ambiguous language/claims about their language service. I installed Panda after the Langify failure and not only is it 1/2 the price of langify, but within 60 seconds of download/installation - my site was translated into about 50 languages - so another app was able to do exactly what I wanted and needed - and it wasn't Langify.

I've been able to just about translate everything I wanted. Johannes has been very prompt in returning e-mails and very helpful.

Hands down the best developer we have worked with. Small issues are fixed quickly and professorially. The developer even fixed an issue unrelated to Langify while in our store, customer service like that amazing. The app is also working perfectly and has enabled all of our custom translations and domains.

Came here to give extra credit to Johannes for the incredibly fast and helpful support, but I see everyone has already commended that. So, let me speak about Langify itself, instead. I needed a solution that would run on one Shopify store, allowed for multiple languages, and multiple currencies. Moreover, I wanted to be able to automatically tap into the theme “locales” files, to avoid having to re-enter all existing system translations manually. The combination of Langify and the recommended Geolizr made for a very powerful solution. My shop now runs by default in english. On visiting the page, the user location is automatically checked, and if desired a specific language is shown to the user, according to its origin country (geolocation). (Helpful, as I can go defining which markets to translate for, as they go growing). The page has a language switch, and a currency switch. Exactly what I needed. Very satisfied, would recommend.

This is hands down the best app for going international. It's very simple to use and extremely useful. What I like about it is that you can customize your website per country because the CSS codes of your theme can be slightly changed for each particular language to create a "local website" feel. Our favorite is the "custom" translation part in the app which makes it very easy to translate 1000+ products in just a few clicks! I am sure langify is one of the most crucial & defining assets for our website.
