Customers like the option of being able to split payments. The Depo app does this easily making it a positive customer experience. The backend reporting is easy for the shop owner. Wonderful customer service on setup.

This has been very useful for taking deposits on products and then easily requesting the remaining amount. The tech support has been very responsive, kind and helpful.

FANTASTIC. I run a custom furniture production business. We offer lots and lots of variants, too many for Shopify's parameters to allow. We use a 3rd party variant app to allow us to offer unlimited customization options to our customers. We found Depo on January 3rd, installed it, and discovered an issue where the cart total wouldn't register the variants from the 3rd party variant app for the 50% deposit. I submitted a ticket with the developers at Depo in hopes they could resolve the issue. When I say that they were incredibly responsive, I absolutely mean it. They double-emailed me a few times trying to set up a time to connect to diagnose the issue and get their team working on a fix. It's now January 18th, and I am running their app with no issues. I 100% recommend not only this application but this team. 100% worth it without a doubt. Thank you Depo, for allowing me to scale my business one transaction at a time! -Keg Vision team

Great tools and great customer support

Right application for my shop; I'll use it once it's my shop is operational. I also appreciated (Mahdevan's) sales process, which included following up on each stage and providing prompt phone support.

The Deposit & Pre Order App works exactly as I required. It is prefect for taking holding deposit, pre-order payments and for generating split invoices for customers requesting a payment plan. I am most impressed with the clear video tutorials and the excellent communication I received from Mukul at Sidepanda. Thank you :)

Amazing app! It really adds some functionality that should have been built into Shopify by default. Creating full or partial payments on out-of-stock items, without the need to change the product settings and make the products available for everyone. This way, you can send draft orders for build to order products to specific costumers. It's also available on the Shopify POS. So while Shopify has no solution for “special orders”, Deposits & Split Payments-Depo makes this possible. Having the possibility to charge costumers a percentage of the product as a down payment makes it even better! Support is blazing fast and 24/6 available. Very happy with the app.

The app duplicate orders every payment taken, to the point where your accounting is a nightmare and you don't understand what is paid and what is not. WHAT IS MORE SERIOUS, it affects your shopping cart. My customers were unable to checkout!!! The problem remained after removing the app. I was forced to install a backup of the theme which I had ( I always do a backup) . Do not recommend

From the beginning, the Deposits and Split Payments-Depo app and the customer service provided to us by SidePanda has been fantastic. We started with a free plan - for which we were given assistance to set-up , which was excellent. As we progressed in developing our online store SidePanda have worked with us to develop a custom app that helps us collect our specific data sets from online orders and handle the unique needs of our doing business. SidePanda have been a wonderful surprise along the way in building our online store - I can't tell you how much pressure they have taken away from specific parts of the process that were causing great difficulty. They listened and understood what we needed, then provided us a perfect solution tailored to our needs, within a short space of time. Their communication and support is excellent as is their product - I can't fault these guys and have no hesitation in recommending them as absolute professionals.

The Depo app works brilliantly and integrates with systems without slowing it down or causing issues. I highly recommend it.

The only deposit app i was able to find in Shopify. Works great and does the job. Would definitely recommend

J'utilisais cette app pour gérer les dépôts pour des locations. J'ai détesté. Erreur par dessus erreur. Équipe incapable de m'aider et je dois encore prendre plusieurs heures pour corriger les erreurs. J'ai perdu plusieurs heures et doix payer un pro pour corriger les erreurs comptables. Ça me coûtera très cher au final.

Install this and your "Add to Cart" button will stop working everywhere except an individual product page. If you're using it on individual products instead of the whole cart, you will be redirected to the checkout page upon adding a product... go back to continue shopping and your cart will be empty. In both cases whether adding partial payments to an individual product or to the whole cart, you can forget about any kind of discount code. Good luck. Talked with support for this app and only certain discount types will work--fine, I'll workaround and use the types that are supported. Those do show up but ARE NOT APPLIED at checkout. Seems like maybe an okay-at-best app if you only want to use the base functionality and always expect to use this on the entire cart. Otherwise, unusable. One star from me until the developers are able to solve these problems. Uninstalling.
