If you stay on the Shopify platform this is a GREAT feature. I don't stay on the platform. I have a standalone website that can easily display the contents of my collections via Buy Button code that I paste into that website BUT it only takes the basic information. We sell personalized products now and this is an absolute non-starter at this point. None of the personalization capture fields we have in our Shopify store come across so it's just another listing that you can't modify on the off-platform website so why bother... This issue comes up because suggested modifications for product templates are accomplished using "liquid" code but, unfortunately, that can only be read by Shopify, not our website provider. I'm now struggling to find a developer who can do a very complex task of working with Shopify's API to move that data across. I realize this is a free "app" but, really Shopify. This doesn't do what it's advertised to do. It says you can display your products on any website, blog, etc. NO YOU CANNOT. Not if they contain anything more than basic listing information and normal variants. Disappointed to say the least.

I only have good things to say about Shopify and the Buy Button. I use it on my website and have gotten feedback from customers saying how user-friendly our check-out experience is-music to my ears! The cart and Buy Button are very simple and useful on our site.

The buy button is a great option for those who want to use shopify on their own website but i wish I was able to integrate it more into a store-like setting with having to pay for 2 sites. I am working with the shopify Customer Service team to make this work exactly the way I would like,

this app is continuously redirecting my shopify admin page and i cant do anything with buy button unless and untill it will stop refreshing the page.

I only require the Buy Button as I am a very small business and already have my website hosted externally to Shopify so cannot justify the cost of a Shopify hosted store (x 3 times the cost of the Buy Button). The one thing I have found so far that is very frustrating is the inability for customers to leave a note via the Buy Button for delivery instructions etc - Cart Notes. I have reached out to Shopify Experts twice however they really only seem interested in setting up stores etc. I am not in need of this service. All I need is Cart Note integration. Regards

This app is such a benefit to my business. It is everything I could want and it helps me rapidly create and test new product ideas.

I used this app to sell specific products through landing pages outside our shop. Setting up is easy, however, it lacks some graphical options for the button such as 'border' color, on hoover color option. Certainly 4/5 stars.

It is a very good app for my store. Easy to integrate and easy to add new products and keep them organized among categories. My only concern is that I have people telling me that they can not add my products to the cart. I guess the problem they have is that they need to scroll up after the click VIEW PRODUCT, then they need click to add to cart. I know it is an extra step BUT I want to make them read specifications to avoid returns. Considering to move to Shopify website to have a better and effective website. However, it has been good.

I use the buy button to sell within my Blog articles. He's great at it. It would be much better if the "Basic" template could be aligned inside the article, but it only aligns on the left side of the blog ... And the "enhanced" template looks great, but does not look aesthetically good with a measurement table for clothing.

I love the idea of Shopify but the fees are too high! ;o( I'd love to be your customer, b/c I think it is an excellent app.

If you already have a website, the Buy Button is brilliant, as it adds a really professional touch to the website and is great for handling all the payment options from all over the world. It took a little bit of help from Shopify (who were very quick and friendly with their advice) the first time I added it to my website (the code you have to cut and paste looks a bit terrifying at first, especially if you are not a techno whizz, like me) but once you have done it the first time, it is incredibly easy and quick. One word of advice - this will not drive new customers to your website. You still have to do all the marketing and promotion yourself. But it is a great tool once you get the customers there. I highly recommend it.

I used a Buy Button to present a product to an exclusive group of customers. It worked great for this. It would be nice if they had the option to shop for more items if they wanted. I do like the direct checkout, but I have no way of knowing if these customers might have added more to the cart if they had the chance.

I ONLY use the Buy Button on my site so maybe 3 stars is a little harsh but I'm really disappointed buyers can't leave reviews with the Buy Button and am hoping this will change soon!

I use Buy Buttons on my Wordpress website. Works completely fine, it is easy to use (I only have to copy the code on the page I want). I pay for Shopify Lite (9$/month) so I have a transactional website for a low price! And I feel confident to use it without any help, being autonomous is important to me!

This app has been a game changer for dancershaul.com. This app generated almost 7% of our sales for the year. It is great to place on an influencers site and watch the sales flow in. Being able to customize the look and feel is amazing and it is FREE!

This has helped our sales providing an additional stream of sales to supplement our normal store sales

I quite like this app. There’s a few little bits where it could be slightly more flexible without having to create an entire new collection and it’s layout options. If your imaginative enough however it works very well for what it is and it is driving sales.

We have 3 Shopify stores using just the buy buttons, we do this so that we can offer a multi-currency experience on our website. It works very well and allows us to keep control over the look and feel of the website, it also allows for natural integrations on pages we may not have previously considered listing products within. However, the one downfall of the button is the loading time - if you have several products on one page they will take some time to load.

Because I have two Shopify shops with one being digital embroidery downloads and the other my stitched out hardline items, I can use the Buy Button to embed and offer stitched products from one store alongside the digital design at the other store, for those individuals who do not sew - but want the finished product. It works flawlessly for me and it also keeps the accounting separate for the two divisions under the parent company I own. A GREAT TOOL WITH BENEFITS.

This is a great alternative for the $29 plan. You can use it on a free website service like six or weebly! The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that it doesn't have as much customizable features using html and css.

I like the functionality of the app, that I can add product buy buttons directly to another product page as recommended similar products. There are other apps that offer the same functionality and charge a lot for this service. I do wish that there was some kind of analytics offered for the buy buttons. I know the buttons are there but I have no idea if they are being clicked or how frequently.

This app works really well but is basic and in need of updating feels like its almost been forgotten about but it does work and it does convert if setup correctly. If you are having problems it will most likely another Wordpress plugin making issues with it. I have had some really large orders over 2018 using the Buy Button Channel and am shocked to see it have such a low review score. I am using it on 3 WP sites and would be lost without it. Would love to see development on this app, has huge potential even in its basic form.
