Highly recommended app for those sellers providing customizing services. Julie has been impeccable in providing seller support and resolving issue promptly. However, if developer provides feature of price addition for custom option sets, in the free version, this app would be a leader in the category.

Outstanding feature for our shop where we sell customized products. BSS make sure the customers can add the information they want engraved on the products and there are a lot of options for adding price etc. A big deal for us since Shopify does not have this feature integrated. The support is really fast and accurate with great respons via Chat. Much appreciated.

Used for a couple of years, unlimited options but the backend gets seriously slow, also loads every single option sitewide, I had 900 option sets everyone is loaded on every single page, which impacts performance and in the end took the html size to a point it broke my product structured data, products started dropping in search rankings, all structured data removed. They looked into it and said they would fix it, but no update came was still broken after weeks, couldn't wait any longer for something that's a very serious issue and had to spend over a week creating all option sets again on another app. Export won't work if you have too many options. They should spend some time refining the app and its performance instead of just keep adding features. Updating my theme, I had to wait for them to manually install the app, ajax cart didn't work properly. Also had issues with variants not working, adding wrong quantity to cart, breaking add to cart button, had so many issues would NOT RECOMMEND!

I was in need of an app to increase my options and flexibility for variants within my store as I found my variants in my theme to not be suitable. So I reached out to the Shopify forum and asked if there was an app available for this. I was recommended this app Product & Variants Options. This app at first appears confusing to use because there seems to be a lot of options on the menu on the left hand side. However, once I’d had my induction call from the team they showed me how easy it is to use the app. I found that it looks good too. I like the options it gives you within the app for swatches or a drop down menu. It solves the problem I had. Jena Nguyen​ is very attentive when it comes to customer service and is more than happy to help you. If you forget to reply, like I did, she follows up just to make sure everything is ok with you and the app. UPDATE 01/04/24 - I am still using this app, I ran into a problem where products with drop down menu options weren't being added to the cart for the customer. I contacted the customer services of the app and they swiftly replied. They apologised, and asked if I would give them a chance to fix the problem before I changed to a different app. Within a couple of short hours I had a reply stating their engineers had fixed the problem. Low and behold, they had! Very pleased with the outcome, the customer service from Jena, and the app. Thank you!

I absolutely love the way this app is organized. I save so much time by duplicating options instead of re-doing every item page like I used to. The support has also been wonderful and they always answer quickly and solve my problems. The only downside is that I can't keep track of stock if using their options to show my customers different colours/styles. But that is a Shopify issue, and not up to the app developers. Really hope shopify deals with that soon!
