I've tested the different Shopify filter apps, and the Product Filter & Search app by BoostCommerce is the best product filter app in the Shopify app store in my opinion. Its closest to what you would see and use at a major online retailer. I like that you can install/test it in a backup theme and publish when you are ready. You can make your own css customizations and BoostCommerce support provides additional customizations and their pricing is reasonable allowing smaller stores to afford it. Best App and amazing support. I downloaded this app to sort out the side Menu. I worked with Lucy to achieve the desired layout. She was so responsive and got things sorted within time frame. I downloaded few app's to get the side menu, but none helped to achieve the desired result. I would give more stars, if i could. Thank you Lucy and the team. You guys are the best.

This app has been just what we were looking for. We have quite a complicated back-end system which connects to Shopify which meant there was a bit of fiddling around to get it how we wanted it to look from our end however, Henry & the rest of them were super helpful and responsive to whatever we asked. Really appreciate it & cannot wait to see how this assists our online store.

First of all, this App is the best filter feature I have seen on Shopify marketplace. It's very helpful to our website's user experience. And the support team is quite professional and quick responsive, they helped me to solve the integration with my theme. Everything is perfect!

Great app! We use it on our 2 stores the retail and the wholesale. The wholesale store required a lot of customization. The BoostCommerce support team helped me implemented code with "Sold Out" products, etc. I'm glad to choose this app. Simple to use and great customer support.

This app is an excellent solution that enhances the shopping experience for our customers. The BoostCommerce support team went out of their way to help us make the filter code compliant with WAI-ARIA standards, as accessibility support is a definite requirement for our storefront! The app is a great value and I would highly recommend it for any ecommerce business with many product variant offerings.

The app support was really good. They always reply quickly and help to resolve any problem. Also, the filter system is working great.

There is a lot of 'bug' for this app. I've selected multiple things to add into the filter and sometimes they just don't show up. Then on another page, the whole filter is even more problematic - it simply disappears on certain collections page (not all)! The app has a lot of issues that you need to find out then ask the CS to help out (which wastes your time...) Hmm I need to spend a lot of time checking and writing back and forth with the CS. CS's attitude was nice tho, just their speed in terms of replying is a bit slow. --EDIT-- CS was very helpful in tackling the issues despite the bugs. All problems are solved for now.

I had been using a different product filter app to set up my Shopify store but I had so many headaches setting up the 'merge color' feature and spent countless hours trying to get it to work properly as it was very glitchy. I decided to look for another product filter app and saw that these guys had great ratings, so I tried them out. Straight away the team helped me and we set it up with no problems at all! It has been so easy to use, and bug free! So glad I chose this app. Simple to use and great customer support.
