I knew that i needed to reduce my images and change the names and alt tags but it seemed like a huge job that I kept putting it off. I came across this app by accident and in less than a five minutes I have all my my images reduced total of 15MB and re-named for seo. My site loads twice as fast now and I can't tell the difference in image quality and all for a couple of dollars... Thank you so, so much! www.bellybands.com.au

it's not optimizing the image in the pages it's just taking the icon image

I attempted to contact Support at Minifier before posting this, but after waiting over a week without any response, I'm going ahead with this review. Minifier touted its features well and even when processing our images for our Shopify store it appeared to be doing all it promoted. However, we ran a Google Page Speed test immediately before and after and Google still recommends image optimization. We saw a 1 point improvement in our Google scores, even though Minifier reported up to 80% savings in file sizes. I just don't see any value in this product. We'll try something else.

Definitely a must have app if you want your store to load quickly. It is a proven fact that websites which load faster make more sales because visitors are impatient and leave a slow loading site. If your product pics are large or you use lots of animations to illustrate products, you'll certainly get a lot of use from this app.
