There aren't too many audio players available for Shopify. Widgetic fulfills a need for us and works flawlessly. Our recommendations!

Hard to use. After installation, does not show up in App Embeds. No autoplay option. Support is slow to respond. It is nice that there is a free tier.

The app is good and does everything I need.... When its working properly... Problem is... The customer support is pretty poor... So the app has stopped working I have emailed support 4 times now and even got a Shopify Support person to email them as well... Not had a reply... not even to say they are aware of the problem and working on a fix.... NOTHING!!!! This has really caused me a BIG problem as had a new release coming out today... And now i have no audio player...

Worked fine at first, but one day I discovered it had broken and would not play audio. I am unsure of how long I had been charged for a broken app, and this would explain a drop in conversions. I was using audio linked from sound-cloud and this stopped working. I tried uploading my audio directly to the app, but I just received an undefined error.

terrible!! I had installed it all and after 2 months it collapsed and all my files were offline. I used the audios for a workshop, so when this happened my whole on line workshop was on hold!!! And no customer support at all to resolve this problem. You should have informed your customers that it would be offline because of maintenance issues. Also when calling out to you, no reaction at all! Very bad service!

Did exactly what I wanted and was easy to set-up. Filling extra characters. Filling Space. Filling more space.

This app was cool for like 2 seconds but then it broke. I am no longer able access the backend. I contacted support days ago but no response. Please fix!

This app is absolutely AMAZING. I have no idea why there are negative reviews but trust me - if you're looking to embed audio players on your site, your search is over because this app is perfection. Support is incredible - they go above and beyond to help with any and all problems. It's so easy to add new MP3s and embed them literally anywhere on your site. They even offered to create a new upgrade that allows you to expand the capacity of your audio library (they give you TONS of audio space - 10 GB - but I just needed even more capacity for my project). I love that they let you customize the audio players so extensively -- you can show/hide so many features to customers and even completely change the style of the audio player to fit your site's style. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about Widgetic!! Absolutely download it and give it a try. Wish I could give it 6 stars. :)

These guys are awesome! The app works amazingly and have used it for 4 years, I opened a new store and had 28 pages worth of audio which would have taken me ages to transfer. I messaged support and they were on it right away, the transferred all the audio files from my old store to the new. They were polite and extremely helpful. I can't thank these guys enough. Great app. Great Support. Highly recommend!

Great app, does exactly what i wanted with ease. I got help instantly, ignore the negative reviews!

Suport is just wow & not in a good way. since yesterday i been trying to get help & that took time. the music url wasn't working i ask why they reply can you send us the url i did since then been waiting. found ways to make the music upload finally work by myself. but now im stuck again and as before support team when send a message is an auto saiying they responds fast within a few min.

Even after upgrading to the subscription plan, I couldn't upload any more than my 3 tracks that had already been uploaded.

So far I'm really liking this app! Easy to customize and support is very responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend to any musician that's selling music in their store :)

So I just bought this , I really like the ease of customizing but I was very surprised when I realized there is no volume control , that was a major letdown and very unexpected. !? I must assume this would annoy some buyers browsing the site. ***Responding to answer** Is that why Youtube, Vimeo , Soundcloud and all other sites have a Volume control ? Not everyone is browsing on a phone , not a good reason to skip the volume control at all. Essentially , having volume control is not a "useful feature" for an Audio player? ... nonsense. Lol

I freakin' love this app! I'm not sure about the free one because I've got the paid plan. I've tried to download my music off of my site after adding the app to a page and I couldn't- which is great. So- no one can steal them. Having tunes on my website keeps my visitors on the page longer which also helps increase ranking. There are also quite a few different versions of your player - all customizable so it fits in with the scheme of your website. The Widgetic Audio Player has been playing on my site for nearly a year now. It's a keeper ;-)

There was a problem with the app not working and developer was quick to respond. So far the app does everything it claims to do, I was impressed with all the player formatting options. UI was easy to figure out and embed on any page/blog post. So far so good. I took one star off because it doesn't increase the height of the player when I edited this. This will be a great app if a couple of these annoyances are removed.

This app did exactly what it says it could do! I was looking for a way to play sound snippets of songs without having to link to Spotify or Soundcloud (that could decrease physical sales). You can very easily change the way the sound snippet displays and they have great preset theme settings. I was under a time crunch from my boss to get this figured out and this app literally saved the day! While I used this specifically in the product description under each track listing, you could also use it to have music automatically play once you enter your store, etc. Also! They have very descriptive help pages to make sure you know how to easily embed wherever you might need music on your store.

App freezes, doesn't play when required, is temperamental. There is no support whatsoever.

Very good with quality presets! great response time if needed help and was very helpful, keep in mind that if you use this app it may not work with safari try googlechrome and it should work great!

Nice widget, definitely recommend you do the upgrade! Did the research and if you get your songs registered with sound scan you will get credit for spins as long as you host with a recognized reporting stream site... Also the support team is amazing and extremely knowledgeable!

Amazing and well supported app. Fast response through technical support and very responsive, organized interface. Looking forward to new features.
